    It’s cute and I almost got it but I think I’d wait for a better deal like you said. It’s probably a great concept for people who want multiple types of cuts with minimal storage space. Thanks for the review! 👍🏼🖤

      I don't know about minimal storage space. This thing is super long 😱 tfw 🌸

    I wanted to mention that it's good to have this long because it would be helpful to use it on wrapping paper for example.
    Thanks for sharing this video.
    I wanted to get edge trimmer, and I had 2 options, this one and the dial trimmer. I ended up buying this one but I didn't use it yet. So this video is so helpful.

      You're welcome! Yes, it's very useful if you work with big sheets of paper.

    Thanks for showing how this works. I have the fancy-blade scissors but I find it’s difficult to make the design on the cuts match up for a long stretch; it’s also hard to cut in an exactly straight line. This tool seems to solve both those problems

    Thank you for sharing I love watching your tutorials and your Halls. The perforation blade makes a very tiny dotted line that you can tear

    Thats so awesome I think all the blades would fit on the ruler to keep them all together for storage awesome review as always

      It's definitely not made for a "small things crafter" like me. I think it's more useful for scrapbooking

    I also just bought one and was very excited about it, but it is soo much work! It's easier to change blades in a fiskars cutter to get special cuts and straight. I bought it hoping to use it freestyle but it is too difficult. So I just went online and bought a purple cow freestyle cutter..All in all this may be used but it was probably a waste of money unless I buy the magnettic board Thanks for sharing

    I know this rather late but it's my first time for watching you😁 laughing already. I just opened mine that I got on clearance from hobby lobby for $7.49! I think it would help if we had the magnetic mat. I dont have it and I think it would work good! So far I love mine!

      Thanks! I have to keep the thing twisted it's just too hard on my hands otherwise the tool is OK

    • @DumplingsAunt
      @DumplingsAunt 6 років тому

      You don’t have to hold it to keep it open. Just turn it a little more and it will lock in the blade-down position. Then you can use it with your palm. Hope that helps!

    It looks great. Looks like you have to put a lot of pressure on it. I won't be able to get one. I suffer with so much chronic pain, hand pains as well and Fibro. 😩

    How do you keep your paper straight? Don't but it. I only paid $1.00 dollar for this crappy cutter.

  • @daffneyc4c
    @daffneyc4c 5 років тому

    You don’t have to turn and hold it. Just twist until it clicks and the blade stays out. It’s like an on/off switch. This is in the instructions on the back of the packaging.

    Maybe before you take it back try running the blade back and forth, maybe you won't have to push to hard. That's a neat toy

      That just makes no sense. Most of us can't use their hands like that. We need easier things for crafting!❤

    I don't really care for the design. I would have to have the magnetic mat because it doesn't look like I would be able to hold onto it very well. Also that twist and turn sounds like it is out of my realm of possibility. If it hurts your hand I know it would mine too. In fact my wrist and hand started hurting just watching you!! lol I pass. I do want the pinwheel one, though. Thanks for the great demo! You are just a natural in front of the camera! I have a feeling I would sit there and go "duh!"

    Unfortunately, from my own and many other's experiences, this is not worth the money. It should have been shelved its so bad. I even bought the magnetic cutting mat that goes with it - not cheap and huge, and somehow, the mat got cut more than my paper if i got a cut at all, leaving slivers of the cutting material on the blade and top of the mat! Mat is full of cut marks. Some of the blades also don't always 'lock'. Even with thinner paper, it often just crumpled up. The 'difference' between cutting edge patterns is also not significant enough to justify the cost, depending on price; where one buys it. Storage is a pain - yes can put all the blades on the ruler, but a pain getting the one you want each time you go to use it - i have to keep blades in a separate container and already lost the tiny things that stop the blades coming off the ruler - thus - pick it up the wrong way, and you'll have a floor full of fallen blades! Its too unpredictable and the pinwheel dial version i think, was brought to overcome many issues. unfortunately this one is still being sold despite so many poor reviews, to get rid of excess stock when it should have been recalled. Love WRMK tools, but not this one sadly. Hopefully i can get some use out of it - also wish they had smaller versions. Thanks for this review.
