Japan has always fascinated me. With the amount of people who live here, it is remarkable at how clean, efficient, professional, and beautiful the islands are. Japanese cities are held at a high standard, and for good reason. Even when they were hit with that devastating Earthquake in 2011, the rebuilding process was swift. Some nations would still be recovering. That just shows you how awesome Japan is.

@@einzelganger09he was probably talking about the Tokyo metropolitan population which is about 40 million now. As you may know, it all kinds of flows together and people commute back and forth. I used to live in Kanagawa but drove these roads all the time. It’s very peaceful to drive in Tokyo compared to other large cities.

      Hello.
The speed limit on the urban expressway in this video is 50-80km/h.
The speed on suburban expressways is 100-120km/h.
Red roads warn of sharp curves, merges, and areas where accidents are common.
      thank you.

Thanks for the list! To help out, the 911 seen around 3:10:51 is not a Turbo S, probably a GTS cabriolet judging by the tailpipes.

Am really amazed, all the drivers are very disciplined! Roads are smooth and immaculate. I can only dream of these kinds of driving experiences. Now I feel depressed when I see what is happening in my country.

It helps a lot that Japan has a) a robust multi-layered public transit system, so people can easily get around without needing a car, and b) extremely dense construction keeping residents in close proximity to their needs, such as groceries, businesses, schools/jobs, etc.
The result is that the roads are full of people who _choose to_ and _want to_ drive, creating a more organized experience, instead of being jammed with all the people who *can't/shouldn't drive,* but _have_ to, due to poor city zoning and underfunded/underdeveloped public transit.

All signs are in Japanese language. Nearly impossible for a person to drive in Japan who doesn't understand Japanese language. From Canada 🇨🇦

You could use the navigation on Google Maps to go on highways.
Highways in Tokyo are hard to drive on for many Japanese drivers. They even use navigations.

Amazing Highway infrastructure. Love the tunnels most. Only exception, I'm sure no one does the speed limit. Seems like 20 kms over mostly. 😉
