Best car ever. The slightly exposed intercooler is no issue at all. Just look at all the skylines and supra with the massive front mount intercoolers. It'd the way it should be.
As for your concerns regarding the squeaks, the car has a panoramic roof. The drawback is that the entire chassis would flex a little bit more, resulting in squeaks. Any attempt to remedy this, would probably result in significant weight gains or at least, at the cost of certain creature comforts. 😊 I stand to be corrected.
Definitively agree with the heated steering wheel comment. I called my salesperson back to ask where they were hiding the button and was shocked when they told me it didn't have it. My 2005 Maxima had a heated steering wheel. My only other complaint is the rear end styling. I think MB could have bumped out the quarters or put wheel arches on it to make it more recognizable.
Drivers car to its core. All the money spent on the w213 is under the hood. Get some redstar catless downpipes / eurocharged ECU/TCU/CPC tune and you will never get rid of it. I LOVE mine

E55 is great don’t get me wrong, but the W213 is leaps and bounds better than the W211. The dislikes are so minor that people literally have to go find them and start grabbing interior parts to come up with something. Plus the first couple were first year 2018 things only. If you haven’t, go drive a 213 E63S, you’ll be blown away. 😀
I own an E53 Coupe and I do share some points with you: - I do miss the heated wheel especially coming from my evoque, which ofc has it and myself always having cold hands. Factually on every amg a heated wheel is optional. - Being a european car I haven't experienced any creaking sounds from my interior, touching the same surfaces as you. What I really don't like that much would be leather quality. My car has 78'000km (around 45k miles) on it and I'm really not that heavy, but the seat already has so many creases on the outer part it's ridiculous - even though mine is doing above average compared to other with half the mileage. I've seen C63s armrests get loose because of resting their elbow on it - thankfully I'm more careful. Other than that I do not like this poor Burmester Surround Sound System with only 13 speakers. Again the evoque's Meridian is far better in comparison for being such an older car. I just can't get myself confortable with it, it's too unbalanced especially with the bass, mids are pretty clear I even connect it via lossless usb everytime. I like the touchless infotainment, the scroll wheel makes it easy to navigate without focusing too much on it. Downside is that my cameras sometimes don't work other than that great car

Heated wheel is an option. If you don't order it, you don't get it. I live in a hot country and don't option 'heated' anything, but the base models of all AMG over here come with heated and cooled seats. If you don't have MBUX, the media interface is sludge. Option the MBUX and you don't have that problem. Every E series I've been in don't creak - maybe yours has had a hard life?
Hate the transmission mapping, too much lag from pedal drop and sometimes won't upshift. I agree with the heated steering wheel complaint. I can remote start 2018 with the app but it's very unreliable. They also charge a subscription to the crappy app. Really sucks for a $100k car

Yeah my wagon was . I ended up trading up for a 2019 S63 w the Maybach rear interior package. Comfort mode on the E63 was not comfortable at all. I owned mine for 14 months.
GT63s is an epic car both in terms of drive, interior and looks! Only reason I sold it is the price of the car put me off from doing things to it and it was dying for more noise! Way way too quiet for a car that looked as special as it especially with a V8 (may not be an issue for you if you’re in the US)!

The car locks it just doesn’t beep for flash the blinkers the when you walk back to the car you don’t notice because of keyless entry

I wonder if installing some type of wire metal mesh behind those black covers on his bumper helps protect that intercooler
