    base
    1 packet tennis biscuits
    100g melted butter
    filling
    4+1/2 cup milk
    1 tin condensed milk
    5 ml vanilla essence
    3 xlarge eggs
    80 ml cornstarch/ cornflour
    topping
    fresh whipping cream
    2 tablespoons icing sugar
    vanilla essence
    crushed up tennis biscuits

    Hello Gawa,
    Could one substitute the corn flour with custard powder? If so, 100% or 50/50?
    Recipe looks great. Will definitely try it.

      Never tried with custard powder so can't really say but u can try 50/50

    Hiya Gawa...thanks for this recipe...just wanted to clarify...the custard..is it still warm when you put it on the base?? I was going to try custard creams and crush that for my base without butter...I reckon the cream between the biscuit will be like the melted butter..what do you think??..but will let you know how it turned out!! Thanks again for your easy to follow recipes...and 🎉well done to the Bokke...the tears flowed when the anthem was sung!!       Hi there,yes, I poured custard while warm onto the base,custard creams as the base sounds yummy. Please let me know how it turns out💖
