These are incredible. First the Clarks then these. That is two killer sambas this year and coming from a guy who wore these way before the fad and owns some over 10 year old Handballer in a wild colorway... i gotta say these two samba are must have.
I just purchased a pair from sneakers politics. I'd seen them on the Adidas app w the other ones, then Sneakers Politics sent me a notification that they had released theirs, they had a lot sizes available. I was surprised. I had to get them because they're wild. They do bring back early 80's vibes. I was born in 78' so the 80's was my jam😂😂😂. Awesome review thank you so much
“The Respect Is Mutual” is the adidas Consortium group motto. That is echoed in the handshake logo. It has to do with adidas respecting its partners in the streets. All Consortium releases are decorated with the Consortium rivet. Standard Sambas don’t have rivets on the “runner’s knot” eyelets. adidas always names the model with the collaborator - further driving home the Consortium motto. This colorway makes me think of the colors of the Democrat, Republican and Independent Parties. Even the Cheetah print conjures the political games involved with re-introducing the Cheetah to Asia. The grainy or hairy suede is the opposite side of leather. So these truly show off the quality. I will be writing a story about these and some other Consortium Cup drops. ✌🏽💙👟

Great review and pair. Went 0.5 from TTS. Still narrow but perfect as Samba’s go. Would love to see a styling vid as well.
Light blue, white, off white, or yellow socks are the best styling choices imo and ya gotta go with the yellow laces to even out the RGB color way.
