My sister said that this song reminds her of me; that she cries to it daily, remembering what I’ve gone/ am going through. I imagine this song as adult me singing to young me- when the black dog started to show itself. “At least i know that you’re trying, but that’s what makes it terrifying”- those lyrics resonate so hard. Im trying and that’s what’s bad. My mind is mean man. I hope my sister can forgive me for the pain I’ve caused.

Totally gorgeous song from this talented artist. I have had depression for years and this tune means so much to me.
Greg James' post on Instagram brought me here. Beautiful song. I've been struggling with Anxiety and (I think) mild depression for best part of two years now and I wish there were more songs like this, as it really does help. On the bright side, my anxiety and depression has gotten a lot better recently (minus the situation with Covid at the moment, that's deff not helping) - but for anyone struggling, know that it can and will get better for you.

This song is just so special to me, especially finding it during my own hard times. My friend actually recommended me "Black Dog" by Led Zeppelin and I accidentally clicked on this song, and immediately fell in love.
