Honestly this is not an Installation video. You are just explaining what you've done and not showing how to do it. Nice that you made it work but ppl who have never done this will not know how to take their cars interior apart to route wires and will have to go find other videos on "how to".
It's Impossible to find a "how to" for every model vehicle for installing LED fiber optics. Maybe next time search YOUR exact model of "how to" to disassemble interior trim (for your model) then go from there. This isn't rocket science, it's very easy to snake wires in and out of crevices to customize your own vehicle.
i ordered the kit from them have to say the least i’m not impressed with the fiber optic kit is small and discrete but to install it is a pain. its to thick at the black base to fit in tight spots you have to cram it it there they should have made it super thin where you insert it. like the cheaper thicker stuff. it’s perfect for straight runs but any heavy curve forget it has no flex what so ever. the kit falls short as being great could be better and way easier to work with. just be aware when installing it fellas.
I am also planning to buy this, but I was just concerned about the reliability, how is it holding up for you so far? Also how dim is it at night? I heard they are too bright, even with the lowest brightness setting, is it still not dim enough?

Hello mate i have an E90 too. How many cables did you use? I was thinking 6 but unsure. Great vids btw hoping to get round to this soon. Do you have any photos/videos of your car with these lights fully installed and finished throughout the car? 👍
@@Azizdesign_ awesome! Trying to figure out where i'd put them, all in guessing you have 1 passenger door 1 driver door and 1 on the dash. Dont know where else i'd put them but i'll figure it out when the kit arrives! Awesome i'll give you a follow 👍
thank you for explanation. though I have got one doubt. when we choose 5 in 1 means 5 ambient light? if so then just curious to know how they all will be connected altogether to central controller? and what is this 10 in 1 with 5 pieces? sorry bit confused from aliexpress. thanks in advance.
Thank you, I removed the harness grommet attached to the door, then fed a coat hanger wire through and tied my wire to it, then pulled on the coat hanger wire. Hope it makes sense.
Hmm ... my car is an E90 LCI with beige door skins. They are beige throughout, only the piano lack trim is the different colour. I don't want to drill a hole and to be visible ... don't know how solve this problem so that it looks flawless.
I ordered via your link and I received them today, idk why but they are so crap 😭😭😭 Previously I was using EL wire in my car, saw your video and decided to get em. I received them today and the light is so weak. Immediately near the led it’s very bright but 10cm down its so dull, idk If I’m doing something wrong

Why not just buy the crappiest, cheapest, actual fiber optic cable and use that? It’s a 100 times better than what your using now and way thinner. You could fit it in a lot of places that your current setup couldn’t. You could even use it send data or music files to your radio.

Ordering the same kit. Just wanted to ask:
Can fiber opic lines can be bent? Can they be cut?
Yes they can be bent, just not at really sharp angles. And they can also be cut!

Did you cut a small hole in the trim to feed the wire thru and connect to the bulb?
Yep!
Where did you put the light connectors and cabling

Great work… can you share how you ran the bulb to the door through the connector?

@@Azizdesign_ thanks, is there space on the side of connector for cable or have to crimp pins inside the connectors?
@@surmeetsingh16 unsure, but since the bulb was too big to fit through, i cut it, fed the wire through, and the resoldered the bulb
@@Azizdesign_ perfect, thanks for the reply. Much appreciated and loved your work
I tried opening the grommet and can’t figure out. Do you have video or steps how to open it and also access from inside. I like your way of work best

Can you please share the link for purchase... any newer version that you can recommend better quality and no bleeding?
Check my previous videos, link is in the description
Is there a difference in the brightness between lets say 2 or 6 cables. Or do I need a machine (Lamp) for every cord in order to be bright ?
U can only hook up one cord to each light
Got an A-class you reckon this would work?
what's the reason behind putting electrical tape on the ends? Thanks
To prevent the light from showing on the corners
