Excellent dough recipe. I used to use double the frozen berries ( IQF) individual quick frozen, and thaw and put just the fruit, in a blender and boil honey. Equal weight and strain the pulp and seeds from the fruit and pour the fruit in the honey and boil for 20 minutes and add pectin. And cool. Fold the butter in thirds into the dough and give 2 double turns and chill 2 hours.😘😘👍🙋 Nicely done.

I love how you make it so very simple. I kind of wish you could translate all the measurements of ingredients for those of us who don't use ml and grams etc. I know my husband would love this recipe for sure. Just set your scale to measure in grams rather than ounces and all liquid measuring cups sold in the US have both Metric and Imperial measurements printed right on them. Just look for the metric side

I am not in my best state, but watching you bake so calmly provides calming effect on me. I used to bake but somehow I lost interest. Now I feel like baking again, thanks to you. 🤍

I’ve always enjoyed baking as my Mother was a talented baker who baked at least 5 days a week, (my Dad detested, “store-bought” & bakery items…he refused to eat them, preferring my Mother’s masterpieces instead). She even made her own noodles which she rolled out using a rolling pin, then draping the plate-sized disks over clean towels that she placed over the kitchen cabinet doors…when dried, she’d cut it into the desired size for the meal she was preparing. Beautiful memories. From breads, rolls or biscuits to amazingly delicious sweet treats for our desserts at every meal, we never felt deprived. Her love for her family was expressed through the baked goodies that she made for us. I inherited her gift of the love of cooking & baking & I’m always looking for new recipes & techniques.
