The single greatest achievement of the western world is the understanding of what is acceptable behaviour towards one another and the understanding of the respect we all deserve and that being female or homosexual or having a different belief or a disability does not change the right to respect and dignity.
@PrincessLovelyAngel Agreed. The aspect of accepting people as they are (which we should), is dripping over to the, we should be accepting belief systems/ideologies as they are. We should not accept all belief systems, because they are not all equal. But people have a hard time distinguishing between the two, because of cultural relativism and because, it's currently main stream to accept people, individuals, as they are. To put it simple. I can accept a muslim, and his belief system (though I disagree). But I can not accept a muslim killing people or in any other way trying to impose it on people outside, his religion. The moment a religion tries to impose it's dogmas on people outside the religion, it becomes an ideology.
@PrincessLovelyAngel I disagree. I DO believe we fundamentally deserve to be respected for our individuality. We have a right to express our beliefs and fight for what we believe in and freedom (of speech, movement, love) and to disagree with others (like yourself).
@@taroman7100 don’t think so; it’s more than an accent, it’s the way they act, the clothes and the lack of vulgarity that apparently is quite abundant among American actors.
I nearly went on the 12th for early showing but I would have had to travel apx 50m to get there so...I'll wait until the 20th when it is local. I can't help myself from seeing the spoilers, though. I'm sooo excited. Mind, I _will_ be seeing it several times while it's here.
Indeed as did I! A wonderful in-joke is casting him as the the character who plays the nurse in the “play within a play” and his wife Imelda Staunton as the nurse in real life.
Elizabeth's comments about women's lives im the 20s were right on! Let's not forget less history repeat itself.

@@markleon411 So all belief systems are equally good?

@@carstenhansen5757 nowhere in what I wrote does it say that. "Good" is subjective.

Love the answers about women's situation these days and in the 20s.
What an incredible cast!!! Unlike so many American actors, these folks have class.
It must be the accent.

I thought the only American actor in the cast was Elizabeth McGovern?
The only American in the cast there is Elizabeth McGovern
In this interview
‘’Very similar except one involves a furry bear the other Michelle Dockery’’ 😂😂😂
May I Say, having watched the Movie I was compelled to watch all 6 seasons. It was Like Time Travel, quite Amazing Indeed.
That's a big plus cause the movie sucked.
Jim Carter is a very HANDSOME man!!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰
Love Elizabeth's answer to the status of women in the 20s! Deserves a round of applause!
I dont see where the woman she's playing suffered much. It's always better to be rich in any govt.
Do support this Movie. Quality Cast...
Loved listening to this!

Loved the series.
Loved Jim Carter in "Shakespeare in Love."

So boring questions.. Hehe..
Terrible questions.
She got away with everything she desired, as well as her daughters. No suffering at all.
Absurd
Quite a lot of hooey over a mediocre movie.
