It’s such a great show! The premise of the main characters being further along in their life allows the writers to explore SO MANY aspects of story telling. Building a family, what a family means, youth, old age, health, romance, friendships, sibling dynamics, parenthood, etc, etc.
I absolutely LOVE this series! Even my 24 year old son will walk in while I'm watching and he gets caught up in it, very unusual for him. LOL I love the humor, serious parts, crazy parts, it's all in one. Hope this continues for a long time.
Why do people like you even exist? You don't know a person's reason for what they're doing in life, yet you criticize. YOU and people like you are what's sad. This is such an amazing show! Makes you cry and laugh and makes you feel great. I love Grace and Frankie. They have the perfect chemistry and their humor is hilarious.

Binge watched the entire series in two days. (They should have a feature that stops you from doing that!) Anyway, it is a great show. The writing only got better as the story developed. There are some really great movements and some really great lines. Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are brilliant as expected with good chemistry between them. Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston also hit their stride a few episodes in, with some downright LOL moments. Also happy to see many actors that we haven't seen in a while. Hats of to Netflix for some really great programming. Oh, and it streams in 4K! Fingers crossed for a Season 2.

I smiled laugh and this last season got me so real emotional... Damn i never cried that much when Sol did light that candle for their family last candle lighting...and Roberts moments when he sat down at the table practising his vows for Sol..

As a woman in her 70's, never fear growing older - it's a privilege! Not everyone gets the chance to do it, aa you discover more things about yourself every decade. And you can find an opportunity to really like yourself, completely. Best time of life, so far!
I'm SO HAPPY someone finally came up with the idea for a show like this. i buy the DVD and binge. LOVE the ideas and I especially enjoyed the final episode for Season 2, where they tell off their exes and kids

was fantastic, would love to have a friend like her, her character reminds me so much of an old friend.
I’m extremely late to the party, but my mother recommended this show to me and I’m glad I listened! This show works for all ages, so funny and pretty wholesome! I watched it with my girlfriend and we both loved it despite our taste in television generally being quite different. 10/10

Binge watched all 13 episodes over 2 days and I am ready for more! LOVED IT! Oh my god, how quickly these characters became great friends that I enjoyed spending time with. The nicest thing is that although all the episodes were very good, the first few are the weakest then after that they just get better and better and better. Fonda and Tomlin are magic and it is impossible to believe that Sam Waterston will not take home an Emmy in September.
I love Frankie so much, all the projects they did together was to make Grace more comfortable in this world. This all came from Frankies exploiting mind. Yes she is my spirit animal. Wish I had someone like her in my life. Grace is so strong and poise, I love her strength, she mentioned being a Scorpio so I guess it’s time for me to get my strong Grace strength…

I ABSOLUTELY love this show and I'm sad its coming to an end. The entire cast is amazing! Yall kept my boyfriend and I laughing. It became the show that we always watched together and if the other snuck and watched a few episodes ahead we'd get annoyed, then crack up. WOW what a brilliant funny, heart felt show. Loved it so much. watched all the eps, ep 8, 9 so dam funny...Yam Lube. My husband and i couldn't stop laughing, The chemistry between Jane and Lilly is just incredible. The other thing about the show it really touches on the subject of loss in a marriage, two marriages of 40 years each over with the blink of an eye, the grieving, anger process, that was a really strong message also. So brilliantly done, cant wait for season 2 which i hear has been given the green light.

its so good, wait until eps 8, 9 so dam funny. Frankie hooks up with an old pal and they are going to have sex for the first time. Grace-Lillie, she has her own receipt for lubricant she has made for years from yams. She makes a batch and starts talking about female body anatomy, sex, lubes when you are in your 60-70's. Its bloody funny. I was laughing so much i was crying. My husband was doing the same.
4 great actor in 1 great show
Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda have aged very gracefully. They are decades older than how I remember them but they are still very recognizable and very much the same personalities that makes them distinct. Most at their age don't resemble their younger selves any longer but they do. They look fantastic!
This show is pretty hilarious! Hope there is a Season 2. Lily Tomlin is awesome in this show.
