im 100% making both will replace my scrapper and striker. Both get express events so why not both! Unless of course you want to make a different class at the time
I played both builds at this point. Probably unpopular opinion, but I think Wind Fury has one of the worst designs in the game, the build has shackles, animation lock, and doesn't have good burst damage. There is like no reason why you would recommend aero to someone just to play wind fury. It's basically reflux sorc with shackles and no blink. Please, just tell them to play drizzle, at least it's easy and consistent damage with decent burst and big aoe...

Off topic question. Is playing support newbie friendly in this game? I enjoy playing support in other games, but I don't want to hold my teammates back if it's the most important role.
Support is quite easy to be decent at with a pretty high skill ceiling. To break it down a bit, as long as you can keep an eye to make sure your shields and damage buffs are constantly up and just heal when people are low and give damage buffs when everyone is out of danger then you will be doing fine. A great support though will know exactly when it's a good idea to burst and when to save the damage buffs for that big burst phase while also being able to efficiently sync up with teammate's rotations (for example lining up the damage buff with the burst of an igniter sorceress or barrage artillerist). There is also a support shortage so it's very easy to find lobbies with support. Their tankiness also make it a great option for people who aren't that comfortable in the raids since they aren't punished as much when they get hit.
Support is the most important role and pretty much a friendly class with shield, heal, attack buff, gauge generation and uptime focus with set attributes that boost teammates with movement/attack speed as well as massive damage in general which everyone is looking for all the time in raids. However, off topic from your off topic just for a headsup, this is a topic that is discussed within the community, the hard part for support is dps outside group activities SPECIFICALLY story progression with continent dungeons but you can easily find people to help you with that. Another point to my off topic is that if you're new and come to this game, there's an activity called tower (it's a one-time thing) and it gives sought-after rewards, skill points to be specific and more. This is not to scare anyone but just a heads-up, if you start with a support, you're gonna have hard times figuring out how to build your dps to do "tower (thronespire, fatespire, fortunespire)" content but there are leeways around this which you might end up looking for some guides as a support. This is from my experience at least. Some players find it easy to build dps on supports and have quite enjoyable experience in solo content. But DPS support in group activities is quite a spicy topic which you will understand later on if you want to know or just do your research.
Its super new player friendly, people will also not gatekeep you much, as long as ur gems and build are good[i reccomend community guides as they get updated often] plus you only need 4 engravings to realise the true potential of a support and the 5th engraving being a vanity like Vital Point Hit etc.
@@flutura2769 All supports are beginner friendly. Bard is easy to play as well. Paladin is the most braindead, but is also the weakest of all supports. Not an ideal support for prog raids, but an ideal one for reclears to push damage. Artist is somewhere in the middle. Great heals, good damage buff uptime, damage reduction if you use Starry Night (which most don't, because they prefer more utility with Tigers) but shitty shields. Hopper and Sprinkle are good if your party is made up melee classes. If you play a combination of melee and ranged classes, some party members might not benefit from Artist's shield. However, Artist has a few benefits that other supports don't. Portals for repositioning, cleanse and shield gain when used (gonna be useful in gate 2 Akkan for the chain gimmick). Instant 30% mama regen with Sun Well. One of the best debuff skills in the game, Drawing Orchids. Debuff is maintained permanently and on top of that you get attack and movement speed by stepping on it.
"after a while of release aero engravings is still expensive" Brah, I don't think that's gonna sell Aero to me, I'm literally benching slayer after the engravings support cause the books expensive as hell, and you're telling me Aero is even more expensive ?
Isn't WIndfury all spammy and Drizzle for the more patient players? Also i still hope someone can make a detailed guide on what to do after 1415 / 1490. Because the game basically drops you there via the pass but there's so many systems that get ignored via the pass.

Do we get another express pass when Soul Eater comes out? Na is getting lvl8 gems and all that shiet for free with Aero. Will I be able to get this for Soul Eater? Just came back, roster is not the greatest, but have 4 that can run brel at least. The lvl 8 gems just will save me so much. I'm told I can't make another assassin and save the gems for Soul Eater so I'm caught in a catch 22.
Hi everyone, I recently just returned to Lost Ark and I'm stuck at 1415 at the moment. I've been looking for normal Valtan parties but can't seem to find any. Are there any other things i can do to get Valtan/Vykas gears? Appreciate any help, thank you!
1490 is free now mate. Keep doing dailies and such on as many chars as you have (tier 3) and hone to 1490. You’ll pretty much never find a valtan normal lobby any more when it’s free to hone to 1490.

Lost Ark is not the best game when it comes to new player experience as few to none veterans will want to play with you, so if you wish to continue playing this game, you have to look for a group of people willing to play with you and do raids with you.
Its not bad but just keep in mind the class doesnt bring any utility, is very difficult, and some other classes simply hit harder BUT its still a very fun class and can be rewarding when mastered.
Hey guys, do you recommend i wait for startup servers for a quicker 1580 or just jump straight into next pass to get to 1540 and play from there, idk which one is better and which one i should focus on Or if i should use the pass to 1540 and also play on the starter servers after
If you are starting fresh the startup servers sound like a better idea. If you have the time, feel free to use the 1540 express and powerpass that is coming out to test a class that u might make an alt on the start up server i'd say. If you play on EUC you can add me too :)
The problem with the startup servers is that we cannot anticipate player reaction towards it and we do not know exactly how the developers will design them. Based on what they said, you progression will be fast there, but since these servers will be separated from the rest, if there will not be a sizable player base joining them, I can predict already issues with party finder and especially, the market. If it is just going to be a server where they shower you with honing buffs, tons of mats and all that shite, just to increase your item level fast... then I do not think it will be worth it as there will be no difference between them and the super express event on the normal servers. If they are going to provide more than that, i.e. tripods, gems, accessories to make your build and ways to complete horizontal progression faster for runes/skill points, then I think it will be worth it.
I don't choose both cause the damage is not high enough. I'm actually looking for a range class. Sorceress do so much damage but if U fail, it feels bad. Sharpshooter looks good but the damage is bad in comparison with sorc.... I don't know which range class to build
Youre not keeping up with the balance patches then. Sharpshooter is S tier in dps, more so than Sorc now. Sure you might not see a 500 mil doomsday but your overall dps is insane.

But if you want to start from 0 with everyone you can wait for September that there will be fresh start servers released so there is no gatekeeping and you can start with everyone from 0. Starting now or in september are both good ideas. Have fun!
Not really. It depends what you want out of this game. If you want to do raids as a new player, unless you find a group or guild willing to help you up, then you can just forget it. Gatekeeping in this game is insane. If you just want to play casually, chill, do more horizontal stuff, maybe some pvp, then yeah, it is worth it. You can try out these start up servers to see how things go, but I wouldn't get my hopes up about them. Knowing SG, the strategy for new players has always been to shower you with stuff to push your item level quick, but that doesn't address the lack of raid experience which is needed in mid to late game, nor the things used by the community to gatekeep others.
I played 6x entrophy from day 1 im selling everything and going for the biggest drizzler in eu im tired of running around to sniff the boss's ass just to get new gray hairs
She isn’t weak on dps. There’s a goofy ass perception she’s weak on dps though 😂 Only the highest $70k characters notice that stuff. Well that and the worst players. Zzzz
The problem with Entropy has less to do with the set itself and more about the way the bosses/terrain is coded. A lot of players like positional incentive. It's like a game within a game that can add another layer of gameplay. However the positioning of many bosses isn't conducive to back attacking at all. Bosses will just constantly put their backs into a corner and you literally cannot back attack for prolonged periods of time. At that point you're just being cucked. There should be a map barrier of sorts that bosses can't cross to allow space for back attackers to operate. It's ridiculous with all the open space for some of these fights bosses will just favor and sit at the very most edge of a map until you collectively stand far away long enough for the boss to move. It's just a much easier development effort for them to say "Entropy bad. Let's update Entropy." than it is to put in the effort to recode the terrain and the way bosses operate within it. I understand it but I also think it's disappointing if players who are more in tune with boss rotations and utilizing their windows well don't have as good of an avenue for additional reward and we just end up all gradually being pigeonholed into the hit master playstyle.

If you're new to the game play pally or artist, bard is absolutely not beginner friendly but the other two are fairly easy to play

Maybe both, just because nobody really knows if the starter server is going to be a hit or not.

I think entropy should include back aswell as side attacks or have it where if u hit a back attack you get a temp buff

Hi zeal, I want to ask about the "G Loot" that will be released in na west. will this "G Loot" be there like in KR or not? if it is true it means bots will be rampant with this new update.. does GM have a solution about this? I'm still a little confused.
Roxx confirmed already. It scales via Ilvl. So bots will not be able to abuse it.
