A question, and a suggestion. Question: would wrapping the entire length of the skewers with string affect the drawability of the bow? Suggestion: instead of drilling a hole through the center of the sticks, cut a notch into one side, reaching nearly(but not quite) into the center. This would give a better look to the bow, and make it easier to place the "arrow". Also, if one were to figure out how to "fletch" the arrow(maybe with strips of duct tape), a cutout wouldn't strip the fletch off
suggestion, I just made one. Weak point is the middle of the bow. I suggest you add 2 layers of popsticles for the backbone, this will ensure it won't snap like mine :D
