CONCRETE RECYCLING? Can Cement Concrete be Recycled?

Concrete is one of the most used construction materials in the world and today, the majority of the world is ade up of concrete. However, when a building made from concrete losses its value and gets demolished, the demolished concrete is just wasted for nothing. They get piled up in landfills and moreover, more concrete is needed to make new construction at that demolished site, which requires more aggregate and cement, whose extraction and production can create pollution and destroy nature in different ways. In this video, we have discussed on the recycled concrete, their application and advantages.

Never until i stepped in the business I work in now did I EVER hear about recycling concrete until the Block plant that we pick up about 6-7,000 pounds of sand from for Landscape curbing

I can't say how cost effective it is but i think govt must start recycling concrete instead of destroying our nature resources, atleast for their own projects. From purposeless wastage of a huge amount of electricity to rampant exploitation of natural resources...i'm seeing a lot wrong in India, especially in my state.
