If you want a more immortal Dehya, try the Pacifist Build with the Ocean Hued Clam set. Kind of hilarious with how much she heals for essentially no cost. Paired with C6 Barbara and Noelle, she can tank nukes.

Please remember that while it may seem hopeless the chances are never zero that they'll rework Dehya. They've made adjustments to characters in the past post release (no, not just zhongli) due to overwhelming feedback. If you are genuinely sad about how dysfunctional Dehya is you should direct your frustrations toward the people that can actually do something about it. Spending 3 minutes sending in a feedback about her is much better than sitting back and accepting her in this state PS thanks for another great video, Kage dono
It's also important to remember that artifact sets can heavily change how a character functions, and there are potential additions to the sandbox with Fontaine that they may have had in mind when designing her kit.
@@effortlessfury If I will be honest though the artifact set for Dehya is only benefitting her damage. It will not be much of an improvement from EoSF. We will have to keep our hopes not set that high for a potential support for Dehya because her kit design calls for very specific features or buffs from a support that is made for only buffing dehya.

They're not relevant to the current "meta," but I can absolutely see a shift in focus as we enter Fontaine. There are some peculiarities with her kit, and there are definitely some mechanical implementation issues, but I think her niche will become clear by the end of 2023.
At the same time Mihoyo won’t change a thing cause her banner still got good sales. Sending feedback is probably way too low scale to make any difference at all. It’s either being ur sticks out or do nothing for me

A couple months ago I watched every single Genshin vid Jeikage has ever posted, in a number of co-ops death was unfortunate, Dehya will certainly be a welcome addition to your team, I did 85 pulls for the cat lady.... got Tighnari... 13:00 I did the same and did this dungeon? without Dendro, even with Kazuha no luck getting up there, had to restart.
I'm in love with Dehya but man Hoyo took their sweet time to make as hard as possible to get dmg out of her, everything about her is really good and fun but I wish her numbers were higher...
Even with mediocre damage and an anti-synergistic burst if they made her E skill’s coordinated attack’s trigger interval 1 second instead of 2.5 seconds she’d be as good as Thoma is for burgeon but without it being locked to a burst. I don’t know why they made her this way but it will forever be frustrating.
also if she actually had EM scaling in her kit. but more importantly the height targeting on her E needs to be adjusted first, as it stands if the enemy's hitbox is too high (eg ruin graders), dehyas E won't be able to trigger burgeon even if it damages the enemy
@@sprcow Yes, but Nahida's elemental application is stronger. So she can almost overpower any other elemental aura just by herself. If Dehya even had that, she would have been fine and able to maintain pyro auras on enemies for teams like melt Ganyu.
Agreed, but they had to ruin her niche too. If the dmg mitigation was more than what it is and if skill interval was better she could've been a better support instead of a easily replaceable one.
So something of note to everyone. Dehya's Trial, is kinda rigged. The normal mobs will be inflicted with the wet status effect regardless if you use barabara or not. This applies to Hillichurls mainly. So its done to inflate her damage and make her look stronger then she actually is.
12:20 some advice to make these sections less painful you don't need a fully charged arrow to get the greens to destroy the withering a regular aimed shot will work too.
I didn’t actually want her until she actually got release. I don’t even care about her design. Her kit is actually fun for me, and it’s funny how she can’t die of sheer cold. (As long as there aren’t any enemies around.) I also prefer her passive to Rosario’s. You see, I don’t get 100% exploration off of normal people’s teams.

Here's Six funny builds for Everyone (Scroll Down and Enjoy) (Kage I recommend you try these out also, and Have FUN!!) Build 1. I* AM Maple* (It's an anime reference to I didn't want to get hurt so I maxed out my DEF/HP) (My build became popular as a Meme apparently, well as long as everyone is having fun it's fine, I guess?) Put Clam Set on Dehya, As Much HP, & Healing % as Possible and a Physical off-piece you get "Maple Mode: Dehya" You stand there get hit and sh-t dies around you, it's hilarious it works with the BELL too for F2P builds. Build 2. *Starlight Vengence* Burst Give Dehya ATK,Crit Chance, Crit Dmg, and as much Burst Damage as possible then spam the Normal attacks as quickly as possible it's apparently possible to push out a 12-hit combo if you nail the timing, and spam it fast enough (I did it Twice, but 9-11 is normally what you'll get) Build 3. Burn the World You Need 4 things Crit Dmg, Crit Chance , Pyro Dmg (Main stat) and ATTACK stats keep building both this is a typical DPS build She will need Sets that offer BURST Damage. But For Dehya it's meant to hit hard. Putting her on a team that generates Energy Particles is Mandatory to get her burst fast enough or Give her the Favonias Greatsword Either works.. I recommend sneaking in Mona as a support alongside Bennet and Kazuha for Particle generation and further buffs. Build 4. I'm MARRIED To ER!!! You Want ER You will be MARRIED TO ER this will allow you to spam Your abilities more You'll Need High Attack and HP As well as the Favonias Greatsword to spam. Build 5. STALLWART GUARDIAN You Want Any Sets that Offer HP, Healing % Def or Resistances, You Need the Bell for this one as it gives you a shield for MORE Def. Dehya is Meant to Tank here. Build 6. Omni-Elementalist This Build requires two things an Infusion Character and an Artifact Set that Boosts that Element Placed on Dehya Works currently with Candace & Depth set , OR Chongyun & Strayer set. She's Pyro already otherwise I would've suggested C6 Bennet and Crimson set Build her stat wise for Atk and ER. This Build also works amazingly for Physical Burst Units like Eula, Mika, or Razor.
Even the more neutral CC are trash talking about her, glad the always positive Kage stays his way even when the trash talk about her is the fashion right now.

My first clear of the Abyss (30-star) and first 36-star clear used Dehya. (For some reason Raiden+YaoYao+Dehya+Yelan works very well when Raiden National didn't for me.)

Idk why but I enjoy the self-heal mechanic way too much. To the point that if her health drops to a certain point that is still above 50%, I'll have her stand on the burning grass so that I trigger that passive. Maybe I should farm Clam after all. Idk, there also supposed to be a new artifact set she could use in 3.6, but idk how good it would be on her.
Kokomi's situation was different, she was always good, a lot of people were just uninformed. Dehya's kit is actually bad but people can get her if they want, idk why "hate" is a problem when you can just fire up your game and get her if you really like her instead of looking for validation. If you really don't care that much idk why you're calling criticism "hate"

Honestly, I'd love a taunt function in the game. I got a C2 Zhongli who knows how to stay alive and I'd appreciate it if the enemies could attack me, and not the 12k HP pew pew archer.

If you put the Bouncy Tubby T-pot set on all Four "corners" and the Center of each of your T-pots it makes getting around Quicker!

Burst Give Dehya ATK,Crit Chance, Crit Dmg, and as much Burst Damage as possible then spam the Normal attacks as quickly as possible it's apparently possible to push out a 12-hit combo if you nail the timing, and spam it fast enough (I did it Twice, but 9-11 is normally what you'll get)
Build 3. Burn the World
You Need 4 things Crit Dmg, Crit Chance , Pyro Dmg (Main stat) and ATTACK stats keep building both this is a typical DPS build She will need Sets that offer BURST Damage. But For Dehya it's meant to hit hard. Putting her on a team that generates Energy Particles is Mandatory to get her burst fast enough or Give her the Favonias Greatsword Either works.. I recommend sneaking in Mona as a support alongside Bennet and Kazuha for Particle generation and further buffs.
Build 4. I'm MARRIED To ER!!!
You Want ER You will be MARRIED TO ER this will allow you to spam Your abilities more You'll Need High Attack and HP
As well as the Favonias Greatsword to spam.
Build 5.
STALLWART GUARDIAN
You Want Any Sets that Offer HP, Healing % Def or Resistances, You Need the Bell for this one as it gives you a shield for MORE Def.
Dehya is Meant to Tank here.
Build 6.
Omni-Elementalist
This Build requires two things an Infusion Character and an Artifact Set that Boosts that Element Placed on Dehya
Works currently with Candace & Depth set , OR Chongyun & Strayer set. She's Pyro already otherwise I would've suggested C6 Bennet and Crimson set Build her stat wise for Atk and ER. This Build also works amazingly for Physical Burst Units like Eula, Mika, or Razor.
I am more excited for Dehya videos like this. And Kage knows how to us her on the Spot and she is Co-Op Friendly.

My first clear of the Abyss (30-star) and first 36-star clear used Dehya.
(For some reason Raiden+YaoYao+Dehya+Yelan works very well when Raiden National didn't for me.)

Idk why but I enjoy the self-heal mechanic way too much. To the point that if her health drops to a certain point that is still above 50%, I'll have her stand on the burning grass so that I trigger that passive.
Maybe I should farm Clam after all. Idk, there also supposed to be a new artifact set she could use in 3.6, but idk how good it would be on her.
While I do believe dehya is fine I don't think what the fandom is doing is hate more so disappointed since she does have actual legitimate problems
Kokomi's situation was different, she was always good, a lot of people were just uninformed. Dehya's kit is actually bad but people can get her if they want, idk why "hate" is a problem when you can just fire up your game and get her if you really like her instead of looking for validation. If you really don't care that much idk why you're calling criticism "hate"

Honestly, I'd love a taunt function in the game. I got a C2 Zhongli who knows how to stay alive and I'd appreciate it if the enemies could attack me, and not the 12k HP pew pew archer.
