If the internals are in good shape these are great units. Personally I prefer the Galaxy DX 2527, same radio without the internal amp. These have the same circuit boards as the 2527, the first gen RCI 2950 and Sommerkamp TS-2000 DX mobile radios. Definitely my favorite board that's not surface mount. This is a tempting buy... 💯
