Bill Bailey is such a talent. We went to see his live performance and he would get suggestions from the audience for random songs that he could perform in a death metal style. Cue Chris de Burgh’s Lady in Red ( a vast improvement in my opinion) and children’s nursery rhymes - he is able to play so many instruments and even did a routine with Robin Williams for Prince Charles before he became King Charles.
Always love to see some Bill Bailey reactions, one of my favourite comedians ever. He's actually classically trained but the fact that he brings music into comedy is genius. I saw him a few years ago and he was talking about walking to the beat of certain songs and asked the audience what songs they walk to. Someone shouted out "Hey Jude" and even he found that hilarious.
@@TheWolfHunterZ Haha, if you like that, he did a similar thing several years ago about slipping music he'd rather be playing into something else and waaay back in my first (and so far only) band about 15 years ago, I took that idea and did a similar thing. We were writing a song that required some random bass fills, so I threw in bits of the Inspector Gadget theme, Pink Panther theme and the Imperial March. To this day, I still don't know if the other guys realised what I had done ;)
I was thinking how could you not find that Bill Does Metal clip ... I have watched it many times ... so I did a search and, aye, it seems to have vanished from UA-cam!
Yeah. There was a problem with a request and I needed to sub it out from something else when I remembered That Bill Metal skit. I thought it would be perfect! I've watched it myself many times as well, but I just couldn't find it. I tried every combination of keywords in my search, but nothing... It all seems very odd.
I have seen the clip you mentioned on Embrace the Suck21 its quite funny, you may enjoy Peter Kaye misheard lyrics which may spoil some of your favourite songs
He plays most instruments, very well too. When he played the Belarus anthem you could see Prince Charles now King Charles laughing in the audience. This was the royal variety show
Maybe you guys should have the doorbell inside the bedroom and maybe a mailbox? But the doorbell in the bedroom would let your neighbours know your waking patterns and when your sleeping ,if you catch my drift.....or perhaps a wolf howling ,on certain days. Take it easy.....oh yeah
Bill is far and away my favourite musical comedian. Also you do need to watch the Pink Panther movies sometimes. Not the Steve Martin pair, well yeah you can watch them, but you need to see Peter Sellers in the Blake Edwards' directed (and written) films first.
I have seen him three times live in concert and he's absolutely brilliant.
twice myself and 1st time i did not know he is a talented muso
whao!
You gotta see him doing Enter Sandman on air horns. Amazing.
Bill Bailey is so much fun and so talented.
for sure
My favourite bit by bill is him doing kraftwork singing the hokey cokey. It has me it fits of laughter every time.
Love Bill Bailey so much!

I can’t find the heavy metal clip either, but Embrace the Suck did a reaction to it on their channel - I think it was off Bill’s ‘Limboland’ dvd
Bill can play anything put in front of him. And he's good with it. His mind does take some peculiar turns from time to time though.
Bill Bailey creates great comedy with music. I hope you get more recommendations for Bill Barley on your channel.
Seen him live , guy is genius 👏 👌
Check out Bill Bailey and friends doing a skit about Kraftwerk, the German electronica band.

Amazing 'Skullet'😂
He is worth the ticket price
my favourite of his skit are happy birthday in minor and heavy metal makes every song better
"Bill Bailey - Why Heavy Metal Makes Every Song Better"
you GOT so react to his "everything sounds better in metal"
oh come on a big red button next to the bed you can hit just at the right moment to play just the right bit of mood music
Coincidentally, "I'm arriving" is what the British upper class say when doing the erm... You know...😂

I love the way Prince Charles loses it over the Belarus anthem...!
