Actually, the lyrics on Escapexstacy were also Ville's. Poisonblack was his project all along, but in the beginning he wanted to concentrate on playing the guitar, after having been a front-man for so many years, that's why it was Juha-Pekka doing the singing.

Just finished listening through the album, great work again, seems that they relase one medioker album and then one that rocks. This whole album has a great groove. Nice coverwork and booklet too.

The others members of Poisonblack were Juha-Pekka JP Leppäluoto(main song writer & some vocals), Antti Remes(Bass), Marco Sneck(Keyboards), and Tarmo Kanerva(Drums). Poisonblack Rocks!! The interesting thing in this video was the parallels with their “Rush” video. The video could have benefited from alluding to the Angel and Devil roles the girls played before, some slams in the mud, and a little more reaction from Ville and the band. Still a good song.
I would say it is. Most their stuff is more gothic/suomi but this song is Very rock and roll from the guitars, the tempo, the vox and even the lyrics as well. Even when its more gothic, Suomi Metal is just as related to Rock as it is to Metal anyway.
@AUStarScream I agree, I also think this is the only song on this album that would be worthy of actually being on a sentenced record (not that the other "Drive" tracks are bad...). I'd say Mercury Falling is upbeat enough to fit in on Cold White Light album.

@tuulenkoti Poisonblack was already running well when Sentenced was still playing their last shows. I doubt that Tenkula would have joined his band, for he's a composer, not just some guitar player. You can hear from Laihiala's songs in Sentenced and Poisonblack, they're very different from what Miika would compose. Besides, as I said, Man-Eating Tree was supposed to be the band for both Miika and Vesa, but sadly Miika died... That's how I see it.
I hate to bring it back to Sentenced because this band would shine on it's own anyway but i do hear a hell of a lot of the band i loved to death in this album.
FYI: Poisonblack is hailing from the ashes of Sentenced in a way or two. And Sentenced was quite a lot older than Lordi. This band has nothing to do with them.
