    Great tips sir. I'm slow enough so anything to speed up the process is a bonus and much appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi Jonathan. Thanks for this video. How to set the view of SENDS for only one Send, like in Your videos?

      @owens311  7 років тому

      go into View/Sends A-E/Assignment then choose your send. This is called Expanded Sends

    How do you automate the solo and or mute buttons.

    • @owens311
      @owens311  6 років тому

      The solo and mute buttons will be activated for automation when you select an automation method for the track. Its the same method you use to automate the faders. Above the fader is an AUTO drop down menu. Select your method. Then when you hit PLAY you will be able to Solo and Mute and those actions will be written.

    Hey man when I click the "S" button on my tracks the button does not turn yellow. However it is soloed. I just opened my pro tools and it was like that. Can you help. Also it does not let me import audio Thanks

      hm that's odd. The only way the solo button would stay solo'd when not lit up is if it's in solo safe mode as this video shows. It will be gray. regarding the import function when you go to file, import audio. then find the audio file, select either all all, or convert all, then hit import, then select a spot to import to, then it will ask if you want to import as a new track or a clip. New track will place it on the timeline, new clip will place it in your clip bin on the right hand menu bar

      Solo worked out. Thanks. But I get an Error when I try to import it. Meaning as soon as I click import import audio on file it gives me an error.

      what kind of error? and is it for the same audio file and the same session? have you tried starting a fresh session and importing a different audio file straight from the desktop? sometimes it can be because the file is on a hard drive that is having trouble reading.

      Could not complete the Import Audio command because Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/148208/ProTools/NewFileLibs/Cfd/MacBuild/../MacOS/Cfd_ImportAudioDialogMacOS.mm", line 573.
      (Use the Copy button to copy this message to the clipboard.)
      That is exactly what I get. when I try to import audio. I have tried it in different sessions and same result

      And also when I drag the audio I want directly from desktop it just shows up empty or if it does not then the audio is very loud and fuzzy
