Daddy's HOME! Satisfying Foam Wash on a 2014 Ford FLEX Limited Ecoboost AWD

- We had a mission, so we sought out what could be the best "Cool Dad" vehicle of all time: The top-of-the-line Ford FLEX Limited Ecoboost AWD. The Ford FLEX is a practical, well-appointed, box-on-wheels with slick two-tone pearl metallic paint, seating for seven and plenty of OOMPH thanks to it's 3.5L Twin Turbo Ecoboost V6 kicking out 365 horsepower to all four wheels! Josh Brodal takes the lead on this wash with Koch Chemie Green Star and Koch Chemie Active Foam.
As cool as Dane's FLEX is, this thing was in need of a Decon Wash for all the filth! Josh pretreats the lowers and wheels with Green Star for some pre-cleaning to break down the dirt and contamination. From there, the Sandalwood smell of Active Foam filled the air to provide lubrication and MORE cleaning power. From there, it was just a matter of rinsing, adding a drying aid, and Drying with The Rag Company's 1500 Drying towel!
Now did all this work make the FLEX any cooler of a vehicle? Maybe not, but it sure is clean! What 's the deal with the shape of those wheels though? Kinda sus.

Dane, it looks like your rear bumper bolts where it goes into the quarter panel need tightened. That shouldnt move that much.

Glad you gave more in the details, Josh did what Dane should be doing…..a tip from Yvan is to avoid hitting the fuel fill with the pressure sprayer with the no cap style
Im confused as to why so much GS is needed. Wouldnt it have been more effective to prefoam it with 150 ml of GSF and 50 ml of GS mixed with water totaling 900 ml. Like that would generate the active foam and not require a full litre or so of product
We like using GS in the PPF/Tint sprayer for many heavy cleaning tasks. We filled it 3:1 for the video, but certainly didn’t use all 4 liters of ‘pre-spray’ this Flex.
Josh was sure flexing the Cyclone Ultra wash pad with this wash!

Those wheels are well known in the Flex community 😂. I'm not sure what Ford calls them but they have a distinct name among Flex owners.
