Thanks for the video, Im not far from them and was thinking about taking it to them for wheel alignment. I typed 4 wheel alignment on UA-cam and this video pops up.
Getting my 1 series done this week. I've had my car lowered 35mm and spacers on the front and back, the car definitely needs this as it feels like it's all over the place while driving. I've just had to wait until the springs settled.
BMW special( sensitive) about tracking! Before you do wheels alignment they have to load extra weight inside the car minimum 280 kg Plus full tank of fuel. Otherwise no sense of it just spent the money 💰 doesn’t matter what mashine they are have, they do wrong. Missing main details. After couple thousands miles you will have to change your expensive tyres
Did you load the car before alignment according to BMW shop manual specs? E-60 manual calls for 150 lbs in each front seat, 150 in the middle of the rear seat, 45 in the trunk and fuel tank full, otherwise the readings will be inaccurate.
I sware up and down Hunter laser alignment's are the best out there! Thats all I use and trust me it's a night and day difference from other so called alignment's you get out there.
Wonder if anyone can answer this. I’ve got a steering problem where the steering wheel is perfectly straight. But when I accelerate, the steering wheel recentres to the left. My car is a Nissan Juke and isn’t powerful enough to suffer from torque steering. My mechanic changed a track rod end and I then had the wheels aligned which cost me £50. Unfortunately this did not fix the problem. I took the car to Nissan and they tried to charge me £1000 for wishbone bushings and new front brakes and pads. I took the car back to mechanic and he doesnt believe that the wheel tracking device used can do ‘proper 4 wheel alignment’. He has tried to send me to another garage to pay for yet another alignment because he thinks that I’ve only had front wheel tracking done and that 4 wheel alignment is not done routinely. I have a report from the company , called tyre city , indicating 4 wheel alignment is done and that they use a hunter device. I saw the technicians attach something to each of the 4 wheels and take live measurements using what I presume are lasers. I presume that the hunter device not only individually aligns wheels but checks alignment between front and rear wheels also?

Great service from these guys. I took my M140i to them also last year.

I enjoyed this great video
Thank you
Wicked motor, when the Msports are set up right there a total weapon.
So many people don't realise that you need to get this done after lowering. The garage seem to be very good and know their stuff.
It does make a difference. I noticed the difference after having the wheels aligned.
still rocket science for halfords and kwik fit there were never able to align my car..took it to a local garage 5 minutes job done
Lol you're absolutely right.....kwik fit were not able to align it because of it being lowered.....absurd. support local I say!

pointless, it's not a track car, just a pos bmw that will be in the junkyard in a few years
