Most men these days love being a mother. Everyone talks about the impact of 'absent' fathers instead of asking why are men absent. The system has actively blocked or discouraged me from spending more time with my son for the past 10 years. The emotional and health impact becomes a factor
I would add that girls who witnessed their mother assault their father (physically, mentally and through fraudulent legal procedures) also repeat their mother's violent behaviour against men (and children). Yet nothing is being done about that. I highly encourage you to get familiar with Erin Pizzey, the first person ever to open shelters but who was marginalized because she said both men and women were violent -and that this behaviour came from their childhood. DO YOUR RESEARCH PROPERLY PLEASE.
@@ishthefish9006 You would be surprised. Statistically, the incidence of domestic violence by one partner or the other is actually close to equal (women have an edge on that.) As for reports, it is well known that when women assault men, it is hardly ever reported for many reasons, one of which is shame - is a male who reports assault a real man? - or police simply refuse to write up a report; they went to school to learn how to only consider violence against women. Nuff said; I strongly recommend you do the research - at credible and reputable sources one of which is Dr Sutton at UBC.
I did my research quite properly. It was about Infant Massage and was provided to Fathers. I suggest a book of gathering Reasearch by Dr. Andrea Doucett, Do Men Mother. It's 20+ years of Research of specifically Fathers Fathering.
Paraphrasing "not enough women in politics." According to the book "What is good about men?" The answer is that this is not due to opportunity but simply due to most women not being interested in politics. I feel bad for women now who are being forced into industries they have no care for just for the sake of society's "appearing equal." >
Women are just as interested in politics but to put it very simply it takes extra effort for someone who isn't represented in a certain sector to both be socialised into an/or feel like its somewhere they belong.

I know this is a women conference, but I wish he were able to articulate his points without the constant pandering to women. You don't help men so the women benefit. It doesn't always has to benefit women, life doesn't revolve around them. You can help men so they benefit from it. Plain and simple.
You will love my research, see my TED talk. Do you remember when you first picked up a doll to play? I do I had adults around me who coached me on how to hold the doll and treat a baby. I have plenty of opportunity to practice and model being a mom. When boys picked up dolls, they were shamed and sent off to play with toys of mass destruction. So when they hit their 20s and someone puts a baby in their arms....

But unfortunately men do commit most crimes and make up more than hald of domestic abuse reports. That is also a fact
Ladies are troublesome also but arent nearly as bad as the males who because of hormones it can make it alot worse with aggressuon

That has little to do with it
Men are just genetically less empathetic it is more an emotional boundry that also society plays in.
Holding a doll has nothing to do with it. Boys are typically into pattern or blocks. Theyre into patterns mostly
