  • This is the last part of the machining process before we assemble this 22R engine. Cut 3 angle seats and show the port and polish that Sam did to the head to increase flow.

    looks like ITM cyl head. not OEM one. also, these heads really like 4-5 angles and resize the throats(75-82), plus a 30 backcut on valve. it all adds up.

    you can cut away a lot of that intake swirl wall to make it flow

    240 was too fine for the intake runners because it’s not direct injection and it’ll cause fuel to puddle

      @@EngineKrahnicles i was told like an hour ago by 22reperformance that porting doesn’t really help the 22re head at all I guess the intake runners are too large and where you can gain the most performance is below the valve seat where the swirl type pocket it is I guess
