As someone with anxiety and depression, I commonly struggle with what is called an emotional overload, and this song manages to encapsulate that feeling of drowning in overhwelming emotions that are too numerous or intense to process.

Every great band changes some elements, but they have been true to that unique sound that can't be copied. Adding Charlotte James, just takes their music to another level. Try listening to all their music and what they have produced then go from there.
@hybridsoundsystem Nostalgia rules all. Usually I dislike new choons the first listen through, then I start hearing the depth and brilliance in the track and things change.
A lot of whining for whining sake in here. It may appear Hybrid are becoming more mainstream but there style isn't exactly accessible to mainstream radio. They are still unique, progressive and innovative masters of breaks'n'beats. Who cares about music structure when its fresh and original? I've been a Hybrid fan for 12 years now & they are still my favourite 'dance' act. Their music has mellowed slightly but thats probably age catching up with them haha. Love the new stuff chaps, keep it up.
My one disappointment with this is how much it sounds like it's from 'Disappear Here'. Not that this isn't awesome, it is, I'm just nervous about a lack of evolution. But, hey, the album is forthcoming, so maybe I worry for nought. Anyway, awesome stuff.
There is similar scenes with Charlottes James from clips Disappear Here and Blind Side inside comic "Indigo Vertigo" of Dan Schaffer and Katie Jane Garside. (inside you can find a beautifull draw of the woman of the Publicity "GDF" in 2003, hard to find it nowadays cause it was the beautifullest but also the most stunning...) I love this song, nice clip, I would like to have this song. I don't know where to download, the lyrics are great and dirrect. Arigato gosaimass
Hybrid is making much better use of Ms. Jone's vocals, it works great with more of her sensual vocals with the techno music supporting her and highlighting her ability to seduce our ears so easily.

I expect better from Hybrid. Loungefly music, bad vocals from an aesthetically displeasing singer and only the end was remotely cool. Back to the drawing board after this disappointment. No wonder it's called "Blind Side".
Hybrid is still ahead of its time. I’ll come back in another 10 years and see if we have caught up.
