We were in NYC around the same time. Wish I had met you. I met Elvin in a recording session and we shook hands and I thought he was going to take my hand off he squeezed so tightly. Very strong man doesnt know his own strength. I think the new jazz guys are kinder'-gentlier folks.... although no where near the old masters.ability and conviction.Id hate to have to fight Elvin.ehhh
