@maninredhelm You must realise that BunBunMaru & Daimon Lau had a bit of competitive rivalry, and Daimon Lau was actually one of the FIRST and few players to even use Lau's FC 3P from standing. There's a great post on VFDC about it.
@xCapnxCharliex as far as from a "technical" stand point...there is no "arguably". VF has THE best fighting engine hands down. The fights look like a virtual simulator for a martial arts demonstration. Perfect technique and imulation of performing the moves...it confusing as how they make the games so realistic like that. But the best fighting games to me are 1.Street Fighter 3 2.Virtua Fighter 4 3.Soul Calibur(part 1)
If I remember correctly (been a while since I played the game), you do a "half-circle" forwards with your arrow keys (back, down+back, down, forward+down, forward) and then hit punch. It's kind of hard to explain but really easy to do.
It's tricky to time this move on the keyboard. With the default mapping it's: A, S, D (consecutively) and G (punch) but there is the option to assign some keys to half-circle and quarter circle motions, if I can recall.
I know this is a 5 year old comment. But why would you buy an XBOX to play VF2? If anything, wouldn’t you want to buy a PS3 considering the community is much larger on PlayStation?
PFTM Not really, I guess it depends on where you live. Here in Canada they are pretty cheap. And console build quality is pretty important on older consoles; especially when considering the 360 has the highest defect rate from any console.

この頃のブンブン丸はクソ生意気だったから。
この番組の数年後、鉄拳の全国大会のトーナメントの様子がテレビでチラっと放送されたんだけど、その時のトーナメント何回戦かで、ブンブン丸が対戦相手に勝った瞬間、鉄拳のゲーム台叩いて
「おらぁ～！！」
みたいな怒鳴り声あげたんだよ。そしたらそのイキがった態度に頭きた負けた対戦相手が、ブンブン丸のとこに近づいてきてめっちゃガンつけたんだ。
そしたらブンブン丸、
「ヤバい、調子にのっちゃった」と思ったのか、その対戦した人の目を合わせずステージから降りていった(笑)
まさか対戦相手が来ると思ってなかったんだろな。威勢だけはいいけど、いざというときはチキン。
威圧して相手をひるませるのがこいつの常套手段。
対戦相手に敬意を払えない奴は、人として失格。

でも難しいし、この頃は対応されてて読み合いになってた。
この試合でも大門が最速ではなくてしゃがみダッシュで遅らせて斜上出してる。最速はしゃがみバックダッシュジャイスが恐くてここぞと言う時しか使えなかった。
232PPG、毎日２ヶ月は練習してやっと最速連打で出せるようになった。大門ともやったけど読み合い強くて勝てなかった。いい時代でした。
