In the first episode of this new series, we travel to Las Palmas airport (LPA) from Newcastle Airport (NCL).
We take you with is, showing our travel to the 2nd biggest island in the Canaries. Join us on our Ryanair flight, then we take you through the airport.
From there, we catch the local public bus from the airport to our resort, Puerto Rico. We show you the timetables and cost of bus.
Once we arrive in Puerto Rico, we take you to our apartments, Monte Verde Apartments, where we are staying for the duration of our holiday.
We also show you around our apartment and show you everything you get inside the room and the pool area.

excellent footage, been GC lots of times, but never from Ponteland, I remember as a boy soldier shooting things at Ponteland ranges, stationed at Ouston, up the hill. Great viewing guys keep it up.

It was heartbreaking losing our Lola, so suddenly too , such a beautiful big girl, she's a huge miss. We now have a little playful bouncy boy from Zante, Tigger. He's been hardworking but he's turning into a lovely affectionate little lad.

Excellent video. We stayed here in Puerto Rico last May and had a lovely two week holiday. The big shopping centre there offers every thing from All you can eat Chinese food to cheap beer and even Bingo for serious cash in one bar . We are Returning to the island with out grand kids in Late April but this time going to Playa Del Ingles at a posh All Inclusive hotel which we don’t usually do but hey hoo..fingers crossed and thanks again for these vids. 👍

Yes, A.I. isn't really our thing either, we prefer to get out and about and try the food in various places. Good to help the local businesses out too 😊

Yeah there was plenty about, especially in the commercial centre. There's a little arcade and things there to keep the kids entertained.

Thank you Mark, pleased you found it useful. We really enjoyed our stay there and would go again. Only downside was lack of space round the pool but it wasn't that much of an issue
@continentalcoxons we go every Oct and always go to the concrete jetty at the beach so pool size doesn't really matter ,but quality and cleansiness of apartment is paramount and your video showed us that ....

Great video it's a beautiful resort it will be our 11th visit next year . Morgan is a nice little day out take bus or ferry . Did you have to show your vaccination papers at the airport. Subscribed !

At the time, we didn't have to show anything. They were doing a few random checks at the airport but we got waved through. I think it's all been scrapped now though so you should be OK. Do check the UK government website before going just in case.
Hi, do Ryanair at Newcastle still let you do self bags and put tags on yourself and put it on the belt or do they do it ?
The last time we checked a bag in, you do the tags but then have to take it to a desk and they put it on. Weighing it twice basically.

Hi Matt, I'm not too sure as this was a year and a half ago now. I don't think you'll have to now as all that kind of stuff seems to have been abolished since. Last few holidays we've been on to different places,we haven't had to do it. We were in Ibiza in October and there was no need to do it there. I'd imagine the same would apply for the canaries.
