Diana Taurasi said Caitlin was in for a rude awakening but Taurasi played Caitlin 4 times, counting the All Star vs Team USA, and Taurasi avoided guarding CC because Taurasi was scared of Caitlin. Watching Caitlin break ankles, Diana Taurasi was wise to avoid the embarrassment.
Now all they need are some "honest" NOT blind refs.

The NBA guys are all in on CC22 they know great balling when they see it. Shaq says she's the greatest female college player ever but now he's going to have to raise his compliment.
Yeah the NBA guys are watching CC with mouths open they can't believe a WNBA point guard can do the moves she's doing and they all love seeing a girl doing what Luka has been doing.
There was one game where she attacked in the centre, pulled her guard out to the left hand side, took the guard back into the centre and then finally made her fall over before getting the shot off.
Almost all the dribbles that got her open or left her defender lost were between the legs or behind the back.
Which pretty much none of the other wnba players can do...atleast not as effectively
CC has amazing foot work, dribbling skills and ball handling. And she does it with so much ease as a second nature. WOW🎉🎉🎉

Told ya she has her own strategy and it just keeps getting better and deadlier, she can play between face to face/hand to hand combat and she's a long range sniper, she's very highly qualified to use combat in her game
Yes, these players are PROs, but they are a bit less flexible , more stiff than the NCAA players Caitlin faced. They don't change direction or come to a stop easily as they are NOT a full package in terms of athleticism. And Caitlin really is a super athlete (her soccer videos are also insane).
Then:
She reads players EASILY.
Look carefully and you'll find she only needs to create a split second hesitation, a split second commitment to a movement and shell immediately acts on it - that's why they fall or stumble.
So, this is why the women in the WNBA don't like her:
- dribbling skills are top notch
- passing is comparable only to great male players
- very good layup actions
- shooting is top notch
- running speed, change of direction, footwork, resistance are those typical of top rated athletes
If she continues to evolve...Geez.

Angel was drafted 7th for a reason. She is a star in her own mind. She double dribbles but it is never called Worst shooting average attempted, missed and made from 5' and less. Poor three throw average attempted and made. Number one in the WNBA in rebounds and stat padding.😢😢

Caitlin Clark has great ball handling and watching her buckle opponents knees. I always see Holly Holm drop Rhonda Rousey to her knees just before she put her flat on the mat. I only have one negative thing to say…she really needs to be more careful about falling at the end of shots. That may lead to an injury that could keep her off the court for a bit.

I think the game has changed a LOT since I played as a kid, though. I'm sure everyone else does it too, but in every highlight vid of her she's pushing off, traveling, leaning in to give a defender a hard bump before her step back jumper.... These were all illegal moves when I played.
