The space between is so important. If you want your lines to sound lyrical, you have to think about where the singer would take a breath. Those are the perfect places to leave that space.

I don't hear a chord change from B to C during 3rd bar, when I listen the Riding with King version. Is that something you intended?
There is no chord change from Bb to C in this lesson.
