Josh if u were to put a taller gear in that v8 jetski it would still have plenty of bottom end power to still get out the hole , but u would be able to hit 100+. We wanna see a drastic gear change in the v8 jetski! We wanna see it hit 100+
This was an awesome video !! I love the V8 VS the X2 as it shows just how insanely quick the V8 is... I wish everyone would watch that... That is very impressive. Also, love the way you ended the video... Made me pretty emotional, even though I was there, haha. It was so awesome hanging out with you guys !!
Thanks, it was really great having you over. 👍 I have had a few people tell me how you just seemed to fit right in. And they are right it was like having another Jetskibrother 💪🏻 at least now you have some different stuff to make videos with I am really looking forward to seeing what you do with that stuff.
@@JetSkiBrothers I think it was one of the few places that I have ever fit in... 👍 Yes, I do have lots of stuff to work on now. I will have no shortage of projects for a long time.
OOOOH... I'm really excited to see what happens ... I can't wait... HAHA... But for real, I'm excited to watch this... I finally have a few minutes to spare.
I love how insane the race was between the V8 and the X2 ... I think he should have hyped this up a little more. My ski pretty much thrashed everything there, other than the mini jet boat... It highlighted how well my ski works... then the V8 DESTROYED my ski like it was a JS300 ... that thing is insane.
It was kinda sad to see it go but I know Joel will get it running right, we really didn’t have the time to do it. Plus now I suspect we’ll get more videos of it since Joel has only a few skis to do videos with, it should get more screen time 👍
@@JetSkiBrothers I was actually working on the searat today and asking the camera how I would tackle the seara project in a Joel way, but preserve the searat soul ... haha.
@@JoelArseneaultUA-cam if you don't know what to do with, I would gladly buy it from a fellow Canadian and would be glad to have it stink up my garage lol
Josh! We have a challenger coming after our JSB glory! I saw this video today and was disturbed to see such a threatening contender trying to step on our toes on the v8 jetski world! I have been unable to find a video of it actually running on the water but I will say that it looks gigantic and hideous looking and has a bow that looks kind of like an Fzr, the hood looks like a snowmobile, the middle looks like a Yamaha SUV or a SeaDoo LRV 4 seater, and finally the stern looks like the backside of a tractor trailer sleeper cab combined with a chaise lounge/couch! hahahaha and it has Ford SuperDuty side mirrors! I’m not sure if you watch this channel “Steve Morris Engines” but he is probably the best engine builder/tuner in all of the United States. He is a wizard with the Holley EFI system and he could probably send you a nasty tune for the WaveDigger! I would love it if you guys could collaborate somehow! Here is the link to the other v8 jetski on Steve’s Channel below! ua-cam.com/video/Cpumz3z7OT0/v-deo.html
I took a look at it and wow that is really something. I am really surprised that I haven’t seen any videos on that thing before. I would really be interested to see it on the water. Thanks for sharing this with me
I cannot find a single video of it anywhere. They claim to have taken it for rides and testing previously and they claimed that the jet pump that they are using is good for around 90 mph. That doesn’t mean that his ski went that fast. I’m skeptical that it went that fast because he said he was only turning 5,000ish rpms. That seems like it would be too few rpms to get that kind of speed but who knows, it may equate differently since it is a 2 stage pump and flows more volume than a single stage axial flow pump. I cannot imagine that he was very happy with the speed of that thing if he is taking a perfectly good, hopped up, high horsepower v8 out of that ski and having it replaced with a 9.3 liter supercharged hemi built by Steve Morris Engines. I honestly think that you haven’t even scratched the surface as far as how much more performance and speed you can get from your set up. I think there is still plenty of meat left on the bone, so to speak, as far as squeezing more performance and speed out of that set up. And I really think we can make some improvements on the Holley EFI tune and get the idle lower and smoothed out, and really try to optimize the Naturally Aspirated setup before even beginning to start putting power adders on it like boost etc. I am just so excited that the wave digger has been running great and that there is still so much potential left for more speed! Keep up the great work and I can’t get enough of the videos!
Well that's one way to get your junk hauled off. Joking but the way the V8 killed him shows how fast it is, love it. The WAKE SKI would be a good name for the V8 jetski.
6:50 1. I almost took out your camera 2. I'd like to see the footage from Andreas ... he got blasted ! Edit. I did it twice... I thought he was filming on his phone once.
So not that im gonna stop watching for a second, but kinda bummed the sea rat and bob (my favorite two machines of yours) are gone. Where i live in northern Michigan the sea rat would go for well over a grand no joke. Slim pickins up this way and everyone wants top dollar for stand ups no matter what the shape or age. Anyway looking forward to any new projects coming down the pipeline fellas!

How about this. If you want to EARN something from us then you street (or water) race for it. Ever seen fast and the furious? To some people the respect is the most important part. You do accumulate a tiny bit of respect from losing a ski, but you loose a little more than you make.

The sea rat will live on here in Canada. Not 100% sure on the plans, but I'm hoping it will return back to the US when I make my next trip.
