OMG I find it amazing that you're allowed to stay in the library overnight... They have great facilities too! Where I live, security will chase everyone out 5-10 minutes before the library closes. Given the opportunity , I'll definitely stay overnight in my university's library with a close friend and have fun😂
Haha yes they’re 24 hours after January! Kings library’s are tight on security as you have to have cards and things but they don’t intervene unless if you’re disturbing someone else etc and yesss let me know how it goes 💕

Hi. I’ve got an unconditional offer for KCL BSc Econ. A*A*A*A at A Level. The course obviously doesn’t start until September. Would I be able to switch to Econ and management between now and then? Or is it a really long process? Thank you.
I would maybe try emailing in and asking about the process however my friend poppy who has been in my vlogs actually transferred from econ to econ and management within the first few days of starting. It did take a while for the timetables and classes to change but they definitely shouldn’t say no. They do try to accommodate to everyone but it’s worth emailing in first and asking but you can swap once you’ve got your place for sure!

I couldn't do this. Our uni's library doesn't even permit any sort of bags beyond the entrance hall, let alone a suitcase.😁 It's also closed between 9 am and 6 pm, so 24h is impossible.

k eke if you’re from a London university then you can come to any kings library, you just need to show your uni ID and sign in at the front (I don’t know about other unis though)
King’s, LSE, UCL, SOAS, City etc are all in a group called University of London. If you go to a uni in that group, you can use the facilities of any other UoL uni. There are some restrictions, often unis don’t let you in if it is a busy exam period. But I go to King’s and use the libraries at SOAS, UCL and City. And don’t forget to get a Senate House library card, that’s free too!

Maisie to make a decision on what uni to go to you shouldn’t be basing it on how prestigious it is. What matters is the course, the teaching, the location. KCL has always been considered a good uni and so has UCL.
Aimee Gardner I get that, I really do, but as an international it’s also something to consider, as I’d be moving to a new country for this uni, paying 27k pounds a year, so it is pretty important to me to know I wouldn’t be wasting the time and money.
Maisie If you go to either KCL or UCL you definitely would not be wasting your money, the provision of teaching at both is very good . But, according to league tables alone UCL is considered a more competitive university atm, it’s within the top 10 for the UK, while KCL is in the top 20, not sure about internationally but I would think UCL does better. It depends a lot on what course your taking, maybe look at international rankings for your course for both of them and then the higher one would probably be the better decision, if your really concerned. However, KCL has always been considered competitive and ‘prestigious’ here in the UK and internationally so I wouldn’t worry.

Maisie No I’m not even at uni yet, I’m taking my A levels at the moment but have applied to uni’s in the UK, neither of them though. But through generally applying to Higher education all I have herd are good things about both and to most when choosing those uni’s they consider them to be aspirational choices and feel lucky to be accepted. I think for nearly all uni’s you’ll hear something negative from someone for various reasons even if the uni generally has a good reputation, so I wouldn’t worry too much.
