Continuing from the last time, this time I will explain how to care for goyomatsu in the summer while demonstrating. Goyomatsu may damage the tree if it is taken care of strongly in the summer. Therefore, I would like you to keep it within the range that I will introduce this time. This is my experience of over 20 years. Please use it as a reference.

Thank You for this timely informative demonstration. I was wondering should I clean up the old needles or just let nature take its course and let them fall off. I only have a few Japanese white pine and because it is hot here now, was putting it off. I can’t imagine a field of them to clean... thanks again 👍👍👍. 自分もおっしゃる通り！冬場同じように作業をしましたが7月の夏場枯れました！五葉松は怖い！夏場は日陰で水やりは乾くまで注意しながら秋まで様子見ながら育ててます😃

Desgraciadamente he tenido que dejar mi pino halepensis unas dos semanas a cuidado de mis padres,y se a secado, no sé si debido al trasplante de está primavera o a la ola de calor o al riego.Una lástima pero no deja de ser una experiencia más de la cual he aprendido.Dejare el tema de los pinos para más adelante y me centraré en los juniperos.Saludos desde Barcelona, España.

先生🙋いつもお世話になってます。
沖縄宮古島で那須五葉松をお世話してます。夏場は水やり二回とか言いますが、表土が渇かないので２日に一回の水やりです。
沖縄は湿気が多いからでしょうか？陽当たりは午前中のみです。
以前にシンパクのお世話で毎日一回お水やりしてましたが全て枯れてしまいました。多分根腐れかなと思います。五葉松やシンパクは沖縄でも育てる事は可能ですか？宮古島の現在最高気7月30日現在32℃です。
水切れも怖いですが根腐れも怖いです。ご教授お願いいたします

それだけ乾かないのは他に原因があるかも知れません。
用土とか木の元気さとか。
台湾や香港でも松をきちんと管理されてる方もおられるので、沖縄でもいけると思います。
ただ、暖かい期間が長い南国ではそれに合わせた管理の仕方はあると思います。

宮古島は年配者しか盆栽やってないですが、ほぼほぼ地元のハマシタンやガジュマル、マッコウです。
あまり興味が持てなくて試行錯誤で沖縄以外の盆栽頑張ってます
