Please know this is NOTHING (ingredient wise) like the original invention of poutine. Ingredients: fresh, not frozen fries, if you can as frozen fries are coated with a bunch of chemicals (to preserve shelf life - see ingredients) or even healthier is to do homemade oven fries; very good quality of beef gravy if you can’t make your own; and lastly cheese curds (best described as little chunks of a firm white cheese with a texture similar to mozzarella) - that is it. Cheese curds will be tough to find as it is a Quebec invention and not many commercial cheese brands make it (check online). No seasoning needed as there is enough in the gravy. Sure sometimes chefs will add something special like short rib chunks or anything else that goes with the quality beef gravy but they do not deviate from the main three ingredients. It is unfortunate that many YT viewers will think this is the original recipe and could be permanently turned off by it.
There is nothing here that is from the original invention of poutine. It should have been mentioned and titled Vegan Poutine or something else. I gather even the cheese curds will be vegan. I am gagging seeing the ingredients of veggie dogs, ketchup and poultry seasoning - yikes!! FYI: I was born and raised in the birthplace of poutine.
