This is the house that Ronald Defeo Jr then 23 on November 13 1974 at 3:15 AM shot all six members of his family while they slept. Then December 18 1975 George and Kathy Lutz buy the house for $80,000 from the Defeo estate and purchased the Defeo furniture as well stayed 28 days and fled. Then in 1977 Jay Anson's Amityville Horror came out as a hard copy book, and in 1979 The Amityville Horror was made. Then in 1982 Amityville II The Possession was loosely based on the Defeo murders.
When you see the front of the house, the window on the right of the 2nd floor is supposedly the most evil room of the place. The sewing room when the Lutz's lived there.
The reason why people don't move in is because if people transpassing the property at all times walking around the house taking pictures and videos not so much for the "haunting"
@@mjbaz1 From what I hear the master bedroom was expanded by knocking out a wall, and the "red room" has been walled over. The kitchen was totally redone, and the outdoor pool was filled in years ago ; )
that house should be a tourist attraction like a haunted bed and breakfast with events and tours they'd make a helluva lot of money if the town amityville had done that and done it right !!!
This a very great ful home I wishing I can move there with my family and my long time boyfriend David and can you please sending me some more great ful movies like amityville on my UA-cam account I can getting some cool movie s on my UA-cam channel
I think that might put a bit of a damper on potential sales😂 Some states have laws requiring realtors disclose such information, not sure how it works in New York
This is the right house. It isn't haunted of course, but it does get a lot of tourist attention, and 6 people were murdered in the house in 1974. I would totally live there. Gorgeous house. Beautiful view of the canal.
i saw another video where a guy driving by the house said the address had been changed to 108 Ocean Ave. possibly to prevent people from coming by to see the 'haunted house'' ON a side note: there is no way you could get me to step foot in that house after dark..
That's possibly the most famous haunted house in the world. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised that no one wants to live there.
Just think, in five years this house will be 100 years old!😮

Glad you were here. I bet no one knew all that information. 🙄
I have a question. Are the ghosts included or you have to pay some type of taxes??
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Truth.
Miguel M. True
I will buy this house someday when I get the money
I'll go home with you out of curiosity and see
let's see is it real?
lol.
I hope I don't die
Beautiful home
This house is awesome now. Completely remodeled from the dump I saw in the early 70s.
The new siding and the changed windows- especially the iconic half moon windows- looks atrocious. I wonder if they modernized the interior, too.

It looked way better in the 70s they ruined it not as gorgeous anymore they shouldn't change a historical place like this
Buy this beautiful home that’s totally not haunted, 6 people were totally not murdered brutally in their sleep here! NOPE!
After the Lutz's left a family lived in that house for 20 years without an issue.
More like a "Harming Home"!!!!!!!!😆
How many people killed living at that house? It seems terribly selling at affordable price
Do you not know the history of that house?
6 people were killed in it
Does it include the bubbling blood in the toilet? lol
Why in the world wouldn't someone buy this and charge for tours? It seems like the obvious thing to make it into a museum
city of amityville will not allow that you have to sign an agreement.
One day it will, one day
After Superstorm Sandy, who in their right mind would want a house that sits on the water at sea level?
You can't forget a bunch of people died in the house too
They would sell it if they would stop ignoring the fact that this is one of the most famous houses in the US and maybe North America.
that house should be a tourist attraction like a haunted bed and breakfast with events and tours they'd make a helluva lot of money if the town amityville had done that and done it right !!!
If they told people it is the Amityville horror house it might sell quicker being famous and all
Is The Poltergiest Free or?
I'll buy it but it's in USA not in England
Charming home my butt
This a very great ful home I wishing I can move there with my family and my long time boyfriend David and can you please sending me some more great ful movies like amityville on my UA-cam account I can getting some cool movie s on my UA-cam channel
Can i destroy it?
They're should be a live 2018 inside house tour
I'm just buying the house not the ghost 😂
The house where 6 people got killed and many tortured in the basement lol
Nick Nasty no one was tortured
It used to be a funeral home.
And I think some experiments were done on humans 😶
Um , no thanks!!
Why is there no mention that 6 people were brutally murdered here????
I think that might put a bit of a damper on potential sales😂

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past 50 years everyone knows its history.
This is not the house from the terror movie , the one that you don’t want to buy is 112 Ocean Avenue
Lizzette Laureano I read the previous owner went to the post office and asked to get the house number changed

What i read is , is the same house just remodeled, and the adress changed 🤷🏽♂️
@@ecuathug80 Address might have changed, but everyone knows where it is.
nope.
i thought it was 112 ocean ave
They changed the address to confuse tourists so they have a hard time finding it
The house is pretty cheap
Because it is a murder house
😨😨😨😮😮😮
