    Love your videos. Took a trip to Moab to do the fiery furnace, eye of the whale, and lemon squeezer in Colorado national monument a couple of months ago because of you. It was an incredible trip, I appreciate the inspiration and the detailed guides.

    Thank you for the excellent work. My Dad wants me to scatter his ashes up there someday. Now I know the way and I understand his wishes... it is a truly beautiful place.

      Glad to help. That's a touching story, I fully understand, and now perhaps seeing the area it does for you also, as you said...that means a lot to me and I thank you for posting this. Karl 👍

    Thanks Karl for another stunning adventure. We were on the Million Dollar Hwy last fall and loved it but didn't see the anything like from this perspective. Thanks for inspiring us to stop living vicariously through others and to get out there. Cheers.

      You are very welcome of course! Drones can provide spectacular, hidden perspectives and that's why I use them when permissible. This place, with fortunate timing, was mind blowing! Glad to hear you're inspired to get out there and experience it in person. As great as a vid might be, the awakening of the senses to the majesty of natural settings should happen in person!! All the best, Karl 👍👍

    Another great adventure filmed to perfection in an outstanding landscape! Even though I am familiar with snow being born in Michigan, it amazes me that there are places that have that much left on the ground as late as June. Guess elevation plays a big part in it…

      Thanks my friend, I sure tried to capture a sense of that elusive combo of mountain color, patchy snow, and great lighting. That's magical. It's surprising, especially above 13,500 or so how long the snow will persist. Karl 👍

    When I drove the million dollar highway in July, it was snowing. In the Rocky Mountains, you can get snow any day of the year and they have. When I lived in Bozeman Montana, we got 18 inches of snow in the middle of June.

    Awesome Karl. Two questions, what drone are you using for these spectacular videos? Second, have you summited Mt Lincoln above Palisade?

    This is beautiful! Love watchin all of your videos, do you think an outback could make it up that? I know you said steep but not too rough

    • @KarlDeckerPresents
      @KarlDeckerPresents  26 днів тому +1

      Yes, it IS incredible! Thanks. I'm not the person to comment on your Outback question, that said I've seen them get up roads I didn't think they could.

      That was some adventure and the drone footage was great. I have been up there but without all the snow. The views are epic. OHV do operate up there. I suggest 4x4 as there some tight turns and you need low range going down. Thanks for sharing these great views. 😀😀😀😀😀👍👍👍
