Awesome blue! Dang a boat must be nice. I climbed down a wall to net my buddies 37.5 Flathead last night. I caught a 15. Still looking to catch a 40. Was really happy to get a 33 a couple weeks ago(cut bluegill). If only a Flathead will do, take a road trip to Michigan. October is EPIC. Live bluegill at night is the recipe here.
Glad to see you and Brandon out catching a few. Haven't seen many from you lately. So happy to watch another trip! You put em out when you can and I will watch them.
I guess it's been a while since I saw you, that boy has done grown up. Pretty soon Landon will be skippering the boat and you'll be netting the fish. Great video, hope to see more of them.
Just started watching this video and seen drift fishing and had to tell you, yesterday on lake Texoma doing the same I caught my PB blue, 27.25 lbs. I've caught bigger noodling but that one was a PB on rod and reel. Always enjoy and look forward to the next video. Now I'm watching this one, good luck.
Hagen, its great to see you teaching lifes leasons to Landon! Its not about fishing as much as its about morals and spending time with your son. I've watched your channel for along time . God bless you all!✌🇺🇸😎
Glad to see yall again. Great to know you are going to be making more videos. Won't be long and Landon will be taking you out and asking you if "you want to take this thissun dad"? Keep up the good work.
Love watching your videos Hagen. I’ve been fishing a lot around the louisville area. Tough to find any good places to fish up this way unless u go to Taylorsville or the Ohio river. Hope to see more vids soon
Hot weather, sometimes you get them, sometimes you don't. They have funny patterns in the summer. I've caught them under a float, I've caught them on the bottom in ten feet of water, I've them on Santee rigs. I think dinner times vary
Like your videos a lot. Blue lights look great, but they attract bugs. I know you want white light to video. I don't video myself, so I use amber light for work lights.
Hayden, you cast that net very well. I suck. Give us 15 seconds of instruction next time you’re using the net on video. I’m sure many of your watchers would love to see your technique. I think it would make for some good added content for Utube. Thanks in advance.
hey man whats the best way to freeze bluegill to keep them fresh the longest? Do freezer zip lock bags work good or do i need to invest in a vacuum sealer?
I live in ky as well, I think that’s where u r located, can you please tell me the name of this lake, I’m looking for somewhere different than the ky river to fish for good cats thanks

Hayden, I keep a handful of COVID-19 masks in my boat for night fishing due to the bugs. Works like a charm. Hate swallowing a bug😱
Good idea
Great to see you again
Nicely done Hagen
Good to see you two out amongst them! Happy to enjoy your videos,no matter how often you get them out!
Persistence paid off. Nice fish 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

That a bug cough. Nice fish.
Please start making more videos. Yo are my favorite. PS don't tell catfish, Dave.Lol
Good to see you and Landon! I have been wondering if you all were still fishing.
You should make a bee keepers hat for nights like this,I do and it works wonderfully 😅❤
You are one cool dad and guy.

I love that lake. I only get to fush it twice a year but i like it.
💪👊👍
The bugs look horrible. Good night of fishing though. Landon looks like he's growing like a weed.
thanks

Try a yellow lens cover on your lights for bug control.
That is a good idea. It would keep them bugs out of you mouth. The head nets for deer hunting probably would work.
hey man whats the best way to freeze bluegill to keep them fresh the longest? Do freezer zip lock bags work good or do i need to invest in a vacuum sealer?
We use yellow light bulbs or black lights to keep the bugs away.
How do you know where the shad is at?
Would amber lights or maybe green light give enough light for video yet keep bugs away?
Where ya been , not fishing much you got a better Hobbie don't tell us you've taking up bird watching 😂 sorry just miss seeing you guys on the water
I live in ky as well, I think that’s where u r located, can you please tell me the name of this lake, I’m looking for somewhere different than the ky river to fish for good cats thanks
I wanna say it's Taylorsville lake. I live a little bit east of Lexington and I've been wanting to make my way up there for some time now
Missed you guys! Nice vid - I can hear you don’t need to see your lips move 😅 - wear a mouth cover next time 😅😅
What net you throwing?
Were those your medium action rods?
I’d be out of there with those bugs. The lights make it waaaay worse.
I guessed mine at 45 to
Have u ever met Swindell
Wouldn't green light help the situation
So at night I run red lights until I get hit then I’ll switch to white so my lives can be seen
Thim bugs like you lol
Drop them jack down live on a hook….have a contest cut bait live bait.
A red light will eliminate most of the bugs
Red light is what u need
