Waiting at Jardin des Tuileries 🔥 for "La Vasque de Paris" to rise up and up and away!

Everyone is waiting for the same thing: for the Olympic flame hot air balloon to rise into the air above Paris. It's supposed to lift up at sunset, weather and wind permitting. Spoiler alert! The night we were there, Aug 4 2024, it still hadn't been unleashed from its tethers by the time we finally left, at 11pm :-(
