I get that they're allies, but I wouldn't go around broadcasting in the open that we possessed this kind of tech given the insane tactical advantage it provides.
The human admiral sorta implied that blink drive is a way of using standard hyperspace drive technology but with some safety protocols disengaged. Becuz humans are insane. Wait until some enemy backs a human starship into a corner with near total damage except the blink drive. We've seen what Disney thought a hyperspace kamikaze run looks like and I don't think that they converted enough of the kamikaze ship's mass to energy. It should have been MUCH more messy.
They did. “Humans stay under cover for first strikes then we attack. “. They just thought it would be much later, when both sides much closer. I would have kept the how a secret. Clearly full shields took too much power to maintain. If you can appear, strike unprotected side. Thats a huge advantage. Too important to give away.

He was in the middle of a battle. And just because the human used a term he wasn't familiar with shouldn't really mean anything, I'm sure lots of things said were not always understood. However, he did notice it was something he didn't understand, and once the battle was over, did take the time to ask 'What the hell?"
A deathworld is a planet with extremely hostile conditions for life. IRL Venus would be a deathworld. HFY tends to consider Earth a deathworld because of extreme weather, active plate tectonics producing earthquakes and volcanoes, allegedly high gravity, and life forms that are incredibly tough and aggressive.
@@davestier6247 the horrible attempt at voice acting must be some sort of "evolution" because this one didn't do it back then. It used to just be monotone
The "Can we get some of that shit?" Part at the very end bought me off guard, this story was great from the very first to the very last moments!
I heard that and started dying laughing xDDDD
1:50 - You might be curvy, but you'll never be "Ooooohhhhmmm" curvy
Aliens must not have a lot of water in space cause they were THIRSTY
First part was mainly "humans journeyed to the stars, and started BANGING".
Sus
Sounds about right.

Well, Star Trek and Mass Effect is more or less about the same.... Bang what can be banged and eradicate what cannot be;).

Lovely :) thank you for narrating one of my silly scribblings, i was not disappointed at the quality. well done :)

no.@@derianvandalsen

"Can we get sum've that shid"😂😂😂
That made me laugh like I haven't laughed in a long time. MOST EXCELLENT!
One of the most memorable and enjoyable stories that I have seen in over 40 years of watching and reading Science Fiction...!
Just remember, the first one's free, but you pay out the ass for the next ones.

Honestly I think most of the energy was sent past the super-dreadnought and probably extinguished a few stars in that general direction
I can imagine it was already a outdated tech or conventional one
@@xanderortega4359 obviously not outdated enough for it to take the enemy (and ally) completely by surprise.
they.... they want to breed us? Can't blame 'em
To which humanity said "Nope. Gotta keep ourselves employed somehow!"
Absolutely excellent! Keep it coming…!
I loved how they angled their ships trying to maximize deflection off their shields, minimizing the strain put on them to the best of their ability.
Not coordinating your plan with your ally… a recipe for disaster.

I have a question, what is a death world? Could you clarify this expression.

Why use AI and not a real voice?
Or AI that can properly mimic a real voice, for that matter.
All the same, great stories and props to the author.
