I have actually written my own express-like library and use it in my own projects, it even has support for files and can parse multipart/form-data out of the box, something express cannot do without external libraries.
@@kedarvyas7134 yes but it cannot be used in production. I have almost no unit tests and so many edge cases could break the app. I just create it to get an idea how libraries like express can work
By design you're not supposed to "know" internals when using a library/framework. That also means you don't "know" when it'll break or it it's even doing what you think it does. 90-10 ratio.
i get it that express is just shorthand and should be learned after mastering node.js but it's impossible to learn this way when you are suddenly expected to know everything in a university context and everything is taught in a mess together and project teammates already wrote everything in express...
