Simple and useful, thanks for sharing
This couldn't be easier ❤️
Thanks a ton.

Thanks for you
Useful, simple
Thanks
Thank u 🌷
My favourite drug
One of my patient was intubated by the bedside d/t aspiration. He was severely hypotensive SBP-50-60’s very weak pulse but they still administered propofol for rapid sequence intubation. I wonder why they didnt consider something else or to not give propofol at all since patient was completely unconscious. GCS-3
Unconscious patients still need sedation. Agree it wasn't the best choice of drug given those hemodynamics.
Oh a little burning…. My butt!
My arm felt like it was set on fire. It was AGONY!!! And I have a high pain threshold
Yes! Me too! I am going to file a complaint.
@@India-rd6wi good thought. I should do the same. I was in agony
Strange….I’ve had 3 experiences with propofol. They always warn me about burning, but never. I do get strange blurry vision the second I go ‘light out’.
Obviously not that high. It stings a little.
What is CNS?
Central nervous system
What is hypotensive?
Low blood pressure
Rip micheal jackson
Peter K he overdosed on it. In a hospital it’s usually only administered by a trained licensed anesthesiologists. And your constantly monitored while your getting it
lol
Peter k ,i just laugh ,,,lol u are funny
@@nanoukituandamakombele5943 wat so funny..??he died... show much respect to done soul..
Pity people..
Why is apnea a contraindication.
My thoughts for intubations : if patient is not breathing but is still conscious/intact gag reflex and refuses super glottic airway, then this would appear to be a good option to make the patient accept the airway.
Anyone have knowledge on this?
This is an army medics thought process, I’m in no way knowledgeable with hospital type procedures
Apnea is not a contraindication, but a side effect!
glutamatergic
Milk of amnesia
How do they reverse pfopaphol?
David Soto You wait than they extubate
You don't.
Dude, the misspellings in this video... I can’t take it seriously if you can’t spell intubation and propofol correctly.
Well unfortunately propofol will burn like hell unless Dr flushes ladocane in your line..my last surgery I was screaming...
Sean Rowe That is correct usually we give a opioid to help with that pain.
That's why it killed with my colonoscopy! Makes sense. I hate this part. I unfortunately have a 7th tummy surgery because my wound re opened even after a month of a wound vac. This part scares me & I've had at least 18 surgeries. So I ask to have something before the operation room, because my anxiety goes so far up the roof. I usually get to knock myself out, unless I'm too nervous. I get so nervous & scared. I am nervous for my surgery coming up probably next week. I've also had 5 hip surgeries, 31 kidney stones & 3 surgeries, stage 2 endometriosis, a painful colonoscopy, minor back procedures, right inner elbow benign lump surgically removed, minor collarbone procedure, Bell's palsy, & a few more. I'm nervous for my tummy surgery coming up very soon. I also ask to hold the nurses hand before I go under. I get so freaked out. Even after all my surgeries. I get so nervous. So before I go into surgery, they work on putting me a bit out of it before I go all the way out, because my heart rate goes up fast. So I get some relaxers to help & then like I said after about to fully be put out I always hold the nurses hand while I knock myself out lol. It's so cute too, my anesthesiologists let's me say the okay to give me the sleepy meddies.
@@Ap9leJacks-wy3pq hi andriana..you are my spirit animal..I never have met anyone who has gone through or close to what I have gone through medically..now for me IVs make me panic and flip out..but I bought some numbing cream that actually works 100 percent!
I'm supposed to have my right KIDNEY removed next month..but I'm getting really scared..pluss I don't have any kind of support..so I understand everything u we're saying about all of your surgery...stay well my friend..
Sean Rowe awe. You're beautiful. Thank you. I wish the beat for you too. I have had 31 kidney stones & 3 surgeries. They're painful little fuckers. I'm probably having a 6th hip surgery soon this year too. But stay strong. You got this. 💜💜💜💜
@adriana sparkles... I've had 25 surgeries. Surgery number 26 on November 20,2020.
Propofol burns like hell. I know I'm going under, but I panic, thinking I'm going to wake up mid-surgery. I've been given ativan, lorazepam, and valium prior to surgery .
Four hip replacements, pins and ride in my right arm, stent and plate in my head......too many surgeries to list. Dealing with liver problems now, due to acetaminophen and opoid intake .
I wish you the best in your health and recovery ❤️
Iam tired give me propofol
