For those curious - the Gerudo chant in the chorus is written by me based on what we know of the Gerudo language from the game. While I don't know if it's completely accurate to Nintendo's official Gerudo language, the idea is that it's Gerudo funeral rites.

Urbosa really shows off her protective motherly side here, and it really gives a sense of the family dynamic between Zelda and the Champions. Mipha is the little sister who secretly has a crush on the boyfriend, Revali is the brother who's jealous of the boyfriend, Urbosa is the loving mother who sees great potential in Zelda, probably more so than her own father, and Daruk is that crazy uncle that everyone loves
I agree. It would be nice if, after Age of Calamity, the Champions and Link and Zelda decide to settle down together somewhere as an actual family.
Ubosa is party mom. Ravioli is the Lancer. Mipha is the heart. Darruk is the big guy. And zelda is the brains. While lonk is our hero. This would be there anime/ dnd party breakdown.

Good goddesses, I'd be lying if I said this didn't bring a tear to my eye. Urbosa, chieftess, warrior, mother, sister, friend, champion. Many are the titles she rightfully claims as her own, and all of them are embodied perfectly within this desert beauty of grace and righteous fury. MOTI, gang, you are all incredible people, having done such a truly breathtaking job of honoring those we wish was still with us. Truly incredible work guys.
I know he isn't a champion, but since he is a ghost, a song from king Rhoam would be interesting.

I did not expect Urbosa to be played by Cellochicita, but she definitely knocked it out of the park. Great job!
The chorus singing in Gerudo language is certainly a nice touch. The song as a whole sounds both fierce and heartwarming and perfectly captures Urbosa's strength and care for Zelda. Another great piece for this package! Looking forward to see if there's any surprise when the full package is released
There we have it everyone. The Champions 4, chosen heroes with the powers of gods. Urbosa, the Desert Mother, with her lightning. Revali, the Sky Prince who summons gales below his wings. Daruk, The Flaming Titan, who cannot be touched with the power of his barrier, and Mipha, the Healing Heart. No injury is too grievous for her incredible gift, her ability to heal the sick and wounded. All have finally had their songs sung, and all have had their voices returned to them.
Urbosa is so cool 😭 I love how she’s motherly but also willing to absolutely destroy you if you cross her 😂
I think MOTI is legally required to include “Breath of the Wild” in the lyrics.

I love this song so much. Especially since the lyrics convey very well how motherly urbosa was to both link and zelda. My interpretation is with link urbosa saw a child with no family and acted both as a mother and an older sister to him. Effectively she wasn't as worried with link since he has always been able to stand on his own. With zelda it was a different matter since zelda was the closes urbosa had to a daughter. She acted motherly for a child who had no mother and along with having a horrible father. Either way this was definitely the best one so far and I can't wait to see what you do next. Keep up the great work.
alexander emerton I agree with what you said, except for about rhoam. Zeldas father was pushy, but he had to because he knew about the calamity, he knew that Zelda was a major factor in the defeat of Ganon, in the saving of hyrule. He was trying to get her to focus on her power, not trying to be mean

In fact, you can see that he wrote in his diary found in his study that if Zelda was not able to awaken her powers at the last spring, the Spring of Wisdom, he’d lessen the pressure he puts on awakening her powers. Sad thing is he wasn’t able to do so since, you know, _that’s_ when Ganon decided to ruin everything :,(
Urbosa has to have had kids at one point though, Riju is her descendent so she had kids at some point before dying

@@taputrainer8463 Key word is descendant, which means they are untied by blood. But blood relations come in many forms. It's just as possible that Riju is a distant cousin to Urbosa.

Even through memories, it's clear that this is the one Champion there to support Zelda, not Link.
Interesting that the chorus is in Gerudo. Very fitting of Urbosa's people.
I've noticed that when Urbosa said "Feel the Breath of the Wild" Link arrived and she's looking at him like if she mean that the Breath of the Wild is also the breath of Link, the Hero of the Wild! Because Urbosa knows that Link and Zelda are make for each other!💖
This one felt more somber yet held the emotions, ideals, and beliefs of the character. To me Urbosa is tied for my 2nd favorite champion with Daruk. However i felt this song was directed more to both link and zelda. To link as the fact Urbosa acted like a mother and elder sister to him while for Zelda a mother figure that could watch over her. "You pray for strength of your own..was a smart line directed towards Zelda. In fairness Urbosa was the most badass and understanding of the champions. A woman who not only fought to protect her people and the two hyrulians she cared about but also cared for link and zelda two people who werent gerudo. Also any woman who can fight in ceremonial high heels in the desert dressed that scandalous is truly a queen.

I’ve been rewatching these correlating with the release of AoC. I’ve watched them in the order that I did the champions in chapter 2. I started with daruk, then revali, then mipha and now finally urbosa. I’m just wanna say, it’s fantastic that each of the champion themes have the lyrics, ‘feel the breath of the wild’, my favourite theme is probably daruks. Great job 🥰👏

Revali might be my favorite champion, but personality-wise, Urbosa's the best. She's like a big sister to Zelda, maybe even a mom. She's a well written character. The lyrics you guys put just added more emphasis to it. I really liked it, especially the Gerudo language in the chorus.
Also, poor Revali. Doesn't get a spirit artwork with Link. RIP, arrogant birb.

this comment is one year old so you might already know but
basically urbosa, the one singing, is a mother figure for the princess of the kingdom, zelda, who sees herself as a disappointment because she is supposed to have powers but she doesn't know how to access them. urbosa comforts zelda as she trains to unlock her powers, but eventually urbosa is killed along with many of zelda's friends
This is beautiful, my only problem is that the credits at the end are really getting to me :/
BUT that doesn't change how gorgeous this song is, especially the Gerudo language part. Urbosa is my favorite character, and I always look up to her (Don't judge she's my role model) because she reminds me of Lakshmi Bai and I love it :) thank you

My rankings of the Champion songs:
1.) Daruk's Delcaration. It's powerful, and really resonates with the vocalists's bass tone. I only wish there was a bit of a gruffness to match his voice in-game, but otherwise is perfect. I have a soft spot for songs where a bass singer takes command of the song, so that's why this edges over Mipha's Requiem ever so slightly.
2.) Mipha's Requiem. It's tender yet longing. It's really beautiful in a sad way. I honestly can't think of any gripes for this. It's perfect.
3.) Urbosa's Lullaby. It has power, but it also has that kind side to it. My only wish is that the vocalist had just a *little* more power, but other than that, very well done.
4.) Revali's Ballad. This is the only one I actually have any gripes with. The vocalist just didn't match too well in my opinion. I was expecting a more of a refined tone to match his cockiness, but the words sound almost muffled. The lyrics are amazing, but I'm sure that if you had done a few more takes before finalizing, it would've been just as phenomenal as the other three. It's still great, but doesn't quite sound as powerful because of that.
Maybe you should do revitalised versions for the age of calamity remixes of these songs.
How would be the lyrics of kass' final song? Is the melody which appears in almost all zelda's games but I'm curious. Also, sidon's theme. Is similar to mipha but is really nice
