Scholarship players downing a walk on legend…..man just proves the point of the movie , if those guys had half the heart of Rudy we would know there name!!!
The movie is about never giving up and to follow your dream. Got got beat up on scout team all for two plays. He went through hell to get that one opportunity that’s what the movie is about.
One of my favorite movies. Was 1 year old in 75. Notre Dame and the Wolverines are 2 of my favorite teams. Is Rudy still around? Hope he is alive and doing well. Would love to shake his hand one day!! Go Irish!!👊🏽
The Pat Sarb story is one that I've never heard before and partially debunks the idea that no player went to the coach and asked that Rudy take their place. There has been a lot of mockery thrown toward the film that the "jersey scene" in Devine's office never happened. That is technically true, but what Pat Sarb did is certainly in that spirit, and the "creative license" taken is not as egregious as many would want you to believe. Hollywood feature films are never documentaries, people need to chill out about fact checking every little detail. It's a great, inspiring story that people still love to this day.
Uh no..Nick was just speaking the truth of some kid replacing a starter and Nick was nice enough to tell the kid how to sack the quarterback..if not for his advice probably would never have happened..that Rudy kid would probably have run in circles..🤷🥴
Thats Hollywood for ya..😂..but that dude who made all those touchdowns, now HE should have not only been in the movie but they should have made a movie of him and his incredible touchdowns! Sean in the movie though was a cutie.. y'all look him up today, 2024..yikes! 😳😵💫
Man that coach should have been ashamed of himself because if a young man walked on the field and motivated everyone as much as these guys are saying that he did, wow. And it takes a teammate to say he's not going to play unless you let Rudy play. Yeah we know that was the 70s. But hey don't mind me I'm just being cynical😂
Recognition of all goes a long way. They all deserve a thumbs up.
ill never forget that moment we carried him off the field
@@samdilworth1989 you look pretty young for someone in the 70s
You didn’t carry off diddly squat, you liar 😂

I kind of wish they had a subplot in the movie about Pat Sarb.
That was awesome, thanks for posting it!

Got to respect Rudy. Go Blue!
Badass
Seems like everyone is sour that they made a Rudy movie if half of them had the spirit he had maybe there would be one of them. Smh haters
And because of this they’ve been moved from 3rd team to the prep team now getta outta here!
He is happy to get that sack. Its so hard to get a sack in football.
Great people from joliet.
Wild to see video of this since nobody had iPhones back then.
nice

1:28 dude is a pathological liar. He never touched the QB.
So, Jerome is salty, Nick wants credit for Rudy’s play, and Steve is a decent guy. Got it.
