Man, anytime your kid wants to play or film... It's a treat! That's what this hobby is all about! Get the young ones involved and excited! I would rather watch this than a perfect production! Love the fact you involved him, it's what makes your channel!
Really appreciate that!
@@2fmrc of course! Everyone has that niche, he is part of yours! I personally suffer on that department. Might be why I struggle with UA-cam, but do very well in Instagram and TikTok. I enjoy your channel for all the different things you produce. Love it when the boy gets involved, lol curious mind of a child is so entertaining lol.
I agree with that! 😌
Nothing to apologize for on the camera work. I felt he did a good job. Everyone has to start at some point and I think he did great for a beginner
Really appreciate that. He does do really well!
Glad you like it! I'm into 1/10 indoor clay. Great place for kid's to stay out of trouble. Have some good fun with it. Happy new years
Awesome video!!! I just picked up the Typhon TLR and absolutely love it! It’s an amazing car out of the box without any adjustments except for the basics. Definitely going to an indoor and outdoor clay track with it here soon!!! Once again love the video!
Hey! I really appreciate it. Glad you’re loving the Typhon as much as I have!
I've got a typhon grom and I'm waiting for some hop up parts to come out 😎👍
Hey Liam, Thank you for the awesome filming. I know you can see this. Howdy from New Zealand
Also the 1512 castle is the ebuggy edition now and it is roar approved also seen one on 6s hit 107mph I think
Got that same combo for the TLR typhon I plan on picking up soon. Bummer that you couldn't run it in the class but I'm like you where I just like running solo laps at the track so not a big deal. Hope to find one on sale before it warms up again. Definitely looking out for more of this buggy on the channel.
Heck yeah! It runs really well on that system. I may play with my pinion a bit but overall I was happy with it.
@@2fmrc the buggy looks good out there. I figured they weren't gonna let you run that in the 3s buggy class just because it says typhon on it. The 3s class is for plastic chassis play buggies for kids to learn on. But I'm with you on the motor bs...that should be allowed to race in the e buggy class where you belong as well. We're the stock tires decent in your opinion?
@@thatoneguy2756 I honestly never ran the stock tires. They would be good for bashing or for an outdoor track maybe but since I wasn’t planning to run it outdoors I sold them.
My nephew's kids came to the track with us last time and shot some video for us. My nephew took 2 boxes of parts and built 2 more trucks for them to run whenever they go with us.
Cool!
Finally, we can see it on a real track! Thank you for this video!
Heck yeah! A lot of the reason I made the vid. Everyone either runs it on super loose dirt tracks or just bashes it. I wanted to see it on a real clay track. Thanks for watching!
What would be an Ideal Electronic setup for this? you said the castle system wouldnt be your first choice, what would be? Thanks for the info, Im considering on picking up a roller.
I didn’t think the shaky camera was an issue at all. For future reference they make plugins that can take care of most of it. I use an app called LumaFusion for the iPad/iPhone that has it built in. It’s a full fledged editor that can do 4k (or more) editing
Thanks for the top notch honest video. I agree people are just trying to get into Arrmas good grace by saying the off the wall statements about the typhon. I have one and the money is getting close to 1000 worth of parts and effort to get it to a higher competitive level. I think at some point the buggy effectiveness is scalable to the person driving it. And any hopped up rc could be a winner with a champion driving it.
Nice review. I saw em for $350 recently. I want one for street bashing. I have a take off spektrum 6s setup for it.
Just gotta get on my kexb build 1st.
Nice! For that price it’s a no brainer lol
I run the same castle 2200kv and ESC In my tlr Typhon at the track in the ebuggy class and no problem it's the go to motor and ESC at my home clay track
Heck yeah! It ran really well in it. It got a little warm on me toward the end of a pack so I may change the pinion up a bit but overall it felt really good.
What rc race track is that in the video? Thank you and keep up the good work for this hobby
That is Hoosier Hobbyplex in Indiana! Awesome track!!! Thanks so much
That body does look cool. And nice custom vinyl cut out
Complimenti
Questa arma sembra andare proprio bene per la competizione!!
Che elettronica e motore monta?
Saluti 🤚😜
Good job man
Hell yeah!! But my team associated B74.1D has been sitting. All nice and clean.
I live by lake Monroe brother if you ever want to meet up at Hoosier plex to run some I'm down. I'm new to the hobby but have collected 6 cars in 2 months. Couple vorteks, couple mini bs, outcast exb and a cheapo wltoys 144001. Was just looking at going to a track for tom.
If you're just out there having fun on the track, who really cares if the motor is ROAR approved. Either way, you gotta nice looking buggy.
Liam great camera work way too stay on frame nice job 👍
Good job filming Liam, room for improvement to be sure, but much better than most on YT. Would like to race buggy or oval but just not available here in Maine. H'mmmm, I live in a liberal progressive elderly Hippy-Dippy types town, maybe a motion at a town meeting, placing a kernel of thought for a dirt oval/roval track and piles of Maines most prolific crop, rocks, in a town park.. Food for thought.
Reason I write is the subject of scx24 overdrive gearsets offered on Amazon and other outlets. I wanted them, however, being an innate cheapskate, I opted for the cheapie (2 sets of od gears for less $ than 1 set of Treal). They arrived. installed were a problem with meshing, locking up. etc.. Upon counting teeth, I bought crappie gears with the stock ratio, via tooth count. Distilled, count teeth in the ad prior to buying. 16 teeth stock, less teeth equals an overdrive ratio. Hope it helps a guy on a budget not to waste money.
Of course, a mega-gigantic HEY to Liam and to you Matt and your family.
Yooo i run at hoosier hobbyplex regularly, i actually also just got one of these and have run it stock setup with electrons with very good success!
Nice!! We should get together sometime with them! I love mine so far.
Hey man why no more typoon tlr videos?? Was it ever competitive?
I ran some really good times with it. They never ran the class they were talking about (what I purchased this for) so I never actually ran a race with it. I was told I couldn’t run it in the classes they had due to the system I had in it so I just never raced it. Had a lot of fun ripping the track with it though. It’s been sitting on my shelf with no motor or esc for almost a yr now lol
@@2fmrc ahh that succks! Was really hoping to see if it was competative va the other “pro” rc cars, is it in your opinion? Am between this in rtr for or a used rc8b3.2e with same electronics.
Do you no if the full send weights fit the stock c10 wheels?
Yes. You just need to make sure you purchase the ones that say they fit all stock wheels. Don’t forget to use the discount code 2fmrc at checkout!
Thanks for the info. My grandpa wanted some upgrades for his c10 and this will help. 😁
@@cohensherrill3140 no prob!
Are you running 3 or 6s ?
I was just running 3-4s. The class I bought it for at the track was just a 3s class. Ran 4s for more fun when just messing around but that’s all I ran on it.
What electronics are in yours?
Who else is here in 2024 new to RC desperately seeking someone to tell you this car can be competitive on a track cause it looks so damn good? "Raises his hand"
Not a sissy paint job I'm a older man and it looks cool to me 😎👍
😸✌🏻
Get some different tires and the thing will hook on the clay.
The best tire on this track is any clay tire sanded slick with tire sauce. Proline primes are the preferred tire honestly but amain didn’t have them for the 1/8 buggy. These actually sometimes have too much traction when doped with the sauce. It was just starting to wear off while I shot the biggest part of the vid. I didn’t really reapply much because we were just running laps for fun.
P.S. I opened my wallet and bought Treal, so I spent $31 when I could have spent $19. Kicking myself in he arse I'll tell ya! Ayuh!
P.P.S. Thanks Dad.
Send me your kits I'll build them for ya.
Lol.this buggy can play for fun for sure .but this car is no way to join any fun race .
@0:30 if a man drives it like this. He has to a little bit gay.... :-)
Haha! I’m always happy what can I say?!
@Vape N Clash No, i don't think that's it. 😁
Nice run👍
