Hi Foxy Friends! Long time no see huh? Sorry it's taken me a hot minute. We did these shirts at the beginning of April, and here we are 3 months later...but hey, it's out there now. So yep, we jumped on the Tie Dye Trend. I thought I would do a full video from start to finish including how I batched the Tie Dye to wash them. I thought, I never see that part in tutorials and that's what I want to see! Bottom line we tie dyed 7 things and I did 4 loads of laundry. I kept like colorings the same and used a color catcher and it worked out great!

i’m finally so happy someone explained how to wash it after, i’ve been looking for a detailed one for ages, i bought a shirt and she didn’t really say how to wash it and i’d been looking for ages, thank you x
Thank you. I felt the same with all of the tutorials out there! It was like detail, detail, detail on how to tie dye, then you wash and done but they totally skip over how they washed it!!! Glad this helped you out!!! Let me know how the project turns out. Good luck!

Mine always bleed together, I've never tried the color catcher though. Hopefully that will work for me. Love how cute these are!
when you rinse your shirt, rinse without taking the rubberbands off, so in the shape that you tie dyed in. That will help the white parts stay white. Also when you are dying, and you don't want the colors to mix too much, leave a little white space between the two colors, as they will move a little while it's sitting for the 24 hours. Did that make sense?
So in other words you CAN was and dry in the same load
Yep! I would suggest getting one of those color catchers to help with any potential color bleed, but as long as the colors are similar, I didn't have a problem!
