Historically, Cardano and other top ten including SOL have always outperformed BTC and ETH. If ETH reaches a 1.5 trillion market cap, doesn’t make sense that other top tens will be “capped” and only reach 100 billion. 100 billion was last cycle. More likely top ten projects will hit around 200 billion give or take as money cycles out of BTc and ETH. Obviously your entitled to your opinion but, doesn’t make much sense to me
Nope. Look at the chart with BTC compared too all of them. If you bought those gambling tokens at the bottom and sell at the top , yes. Good luck for that though .

@@ikust007BTC is becoming less decentralized as well. As it gets more difficult and expensive to mine the active nodes are in a decreasing number of hands, controlled by large companies and even governments.
It's weird to see people make the assumption that some of the largest coins in the space wont make new ATH's this cycle. You really believe with a 3% adoption rate, that we're not going to make new ATH's? Even dead projects like ETH Classic made new ATH's last cycle. Cardano isn't a dead project.
I am more bullish on ADA because Cardano’s Total Value Locked (TVL) has been consistently trending upward since November 2022, setting new all-time highs. In contrast, TVL in most blockchains has been decreasing; for instance, Ethereum has fallen to 12.7 million ETH from around 22 million ETH in November 2022.
It's noteworthy that ADA reached $3 despite not having a functional DEX. This upcoming bull market is expected to be different, and ADA appears to be primed for significant growth.
Considering these factors, along with Cardano's solid fundamentals, can surely create a compelling narrative for the next cycle emerges.

He said a functioning dex. The reality is that Sundaeswap was plagued with issues at the time of it's launch. Those issues have since been rectified and better DEX's have been released since.
Cardano also lacked Defi in the last bullrun. This addition should also help.
It is worth mentioning that cardano uses Haskel for programming, which by all accounts is superior from a security perspective, though it is also more difficult to code. To counter the coding speed bump, there are tools to allow developers to program on the cardano Blockchain using JavaScript.
ADA did indeed top out at just over $3 last bull while still lacking defi and a properly functioning dex. ADA has also not been plagued with a huge number of rugpulls like many other chains. There have been a couple, but they are rare.
The cost of transactions is reasonably low, the community can take part in the direction of the chain if they choose. Cardano also makes it possible for users to bundle transactions, allowing them to send multiple tokens to multiple addresses in a single transaction for one fee. I haven't seen that on any other Blockchain.
This bullrun Cardano will definitely surpass 3$ by a long shot

Started using Cardano after being an Eth user for so long, and never looked back. Simply better tech, cheaper, liquid staking and more user friendly. New dapps are coming on board faster than ever.
The logic you employed to predict the price of ADA is flawed. Relying on data from the last cycle is wrong, next bull market the top 10 cryptocurrencies will probably all surpass a 100 billion market cap. Asserting that the top 10 will only reach a 70 billion market cap implies stagnation, hindering any potential growth, and limiting us to merely reaching the previous all-time highs.

The TVL growth and price compression on the current ascending triangle + gold cross as you mention make me bullish for an explosive move happening quite soon. Hopefully with more coming online soon - games like cornucopias, midnight protocol and thriving defi system will carry the price to higher levels following the initial breakout.
Cardano will likely outperform especially with its low fees you get to keep more of the profit unlike btc ot eth.

Bare in mind hes predicting a 200k Bitcoin (which is insane to me). In a scenario where BTC is 200k do you think Cardano and other large caps just sit back and marvel at the price. Money flows into the market and ADA will be 5 to 10 dollars in that scenario

On the TPS comparison, perhaps you can elaborate on Cardano's ability to send multiple coins under one transaction ? Although use case for this is rare e.g. Salary Crediting, Monthly Fixed Expenses payments etc.
Under $2 - totally delusional, same as your Solana prediction. $10-15 for ADA and $700-1000 for Sol.

Cardano is actually the most decentralized. Not bitcoin or Ethereum.
Scalability will be huge and governance will be amazing. This chain is a beast and is here to stay. I have so many things to say in favor of cardano but don’t want to type.
Exactly , that's why cardano constantly gets attacked . Those in power do not want a decentralized blockchain. They will attack it until they can't. It can be a blockchain for the masses
It also lacks venture capitalist funding, which adds to the decentralization, but makes it a target since the competition has deep pockets.
Who cares... No one is using it and its more of a cult than a business...

Although I have a question about your price thesis
Last cycle the top 5 cryptocurrencies reached about 80bn+ marketcaps
The cycle before that the top altcoins reached a marketcap of about 10-20bn.
Wouldn't it then be fair to assume that the marketcap valuation of the top 5 in the next cycle would grow to let's say 150bn- 200bn instead of 100bn since more money flows into the space each cycle.
Not a 10x like from '17 to '21, but perhaps a 2x in top 5 valuation could be expected?

Cardano now has properly functioning dex's, defi, and you did not mention that it allows transaction bundling. Multiple tokens can be sent to multiple wallets in a single transaction for a single fee. I think a reasonable estimate puts ADA at between $6 and $9 at its top, with a surprise pump past those marks not out of the question

Can I ask why you expect the top 5 alt market caps to peak around 100mill when this is pretty much what occurred last bullrun, when I’d have thought we’re expecting the entire market cap the coming bullrun to be substantially higher?

Overall a great analysis and quite fair. I think you're ignoring the history in terms of price appreciation. You assume that Bitcoin and Ethereum will reach these MASSIVE market caps of 1-2 trillion dollars, but ignore the fact that TOP 10 crypto currencies will also obtain higher market caps as bitcoin and ethereum read market caps over 1 trillion. For all you know, top 10 coins may reach market caps of 150 to 250 billion in next bull cycle if bitcoin and ethereum alone have a market cap of 2.5 trillion and crypto market reaches a total market cap of lets say 7 trillion. To assume all other cryptos besides bitcoin and ethereum will remain stagnant but BTC and ETH will 5-10 x their market caps seems... naive to say the least. Appreciate content though.

you should research more about why the tvl is so low because due to liquid staking, cardanos staking numbers arent added to the tvl numbers on defillama. most of the volume is from staking. also tvl in itself isnt a proper metric to measure for cardano because the eutxo model allows up to 1000 transaction within 1 transaction. 22 billion in staking and didnt even talk about midnight: where you get the freedom of movement between blockchains.

Yeah i was onboard with everything until you mentioned top 5 coins being the only ones above 100b. if the space as a whole continues to go up, and total3 itself gets closer 10T, i dont see how the TOP 5 coins will only be 100b. maybe the top 20 coins will be between 100b-3T (btc at 3t, eth around 1.5T, and coin 20 around 100b.
If ADA goes back to his altimehigh marcetcap of 94l bi, at 37 bil supply, the price would be at roughly 2,5 usd. so i would say it will go at least 3x from there, so 8 usd is very realistic.
That on top of 5% compounding interest is very appealing

With regards to the transaction per second it's not a good metric to look at. Cardano can have more things per block than most other chains. So having a lower TPS means nothing to be honest. But with hydra heads it is actually a lot more scalable than ETH. Also regarding the TVL it's actually 2nd behind ETH. DEFI lama doesn't include Cardano liquid staking but it does for every other chain... bit sus if you ask me but it's true.
ADA stakes best, ADA solves the Trilemma problem best. DCA, stake, hold, and chill. $5 - $7 this bull run.

Why not mention 2/3 of the entire cardano market cap is actually staked? 22 BILLION! This should be added to the 250 mill you mentioned. This puts ADA at number one. Please dig deeper as there are many false and details....you never used YOROI or etrnl.....which post in a few seconds....and take 20s for finality. If you use your own node which many of us do........much much faster.

Based on that Eth will go to 10k plus and Btc possibly 100k plus. Cardano would definitely have a higher market share than just 70B MC. Cardano at the least will reach $2. At the least.

i think ADA will reach it's Fibo 161.80% Extension $4.9 from it's market lows ( 22 cents). MC will be around 180 Billion. Because 2021 highs are highre than 2018 high and the coin has a strong community behind it's projekt

That's not wise. Had you sold last bull when it reached almost $3 you could have purchase back min 12x the amount of ADA when it went down in the bear. Don't marry your coins and don't ride them down during cycles. I say this because I entered crypto towards the end of last bull and rode my coins down 90+% down. Never again
What I think you're not taking into account: the market cap of the total crypto space is going to grow in this next bull run. It was a little above $2 trillion when the last bull ended. Now it's a little under $2 trillion. If it grows to, say, $10 trillion, then Cardano should at least reach its previous high if not surpass it. And $10 trillion might be a low estimate.
Hydra has been live already on main net, but they have no hydra heads going. And also, it does not scale the main blockchain, it works via these individual hydra heads just like lightning network. And it can fail if one of the hydra head participants isn’t active or disciplined. Me sending transactions in main blockchain will not automatically use Hydra. In other words, I don’t know how anyone plans on using hydra when it’s so difficult to onboard into it.

Wise people clearly understand that the fear-mongering targeting Cardano is a calculated conspiracy by venture capitalists. This tactic is likely in retaliation to Charles Hoskinson's outspoken critique of VCs for endorsing and inflating crypto projects like LUNA, FTX, EOS, Steem, and most recently, SOLANA, only to profit off their followers before abandoning these projects, rendering them virtually worthless.

I think people underestimate the impact of the projects like the one in Ethiopia (~30mins in), housing through Empowa, and the partnership with World Mobile - it's 'Blockchain for common good' but getting in on the ground in developing nations has massive potential, where most of the population are unbanked. The approach to partnering with governments and social initiatives to build digital infrastructure will make Cardano a unique offering in around 5 years from now, I think it's one of the most exciting ones to watch. I do hold ADA though so I will be biased ^^
