In order, the first 4 Counsellors of State are Queen Camilla, Prince William, Princess Anne and Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh. The list was amended in 2022 to remove Prince Harry and Prince Andrew as "only working members of the Royal Family can be called on to act as Counsellors of State ". The King is the Monarch of Scotland, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Commonwealth.
A Scottish King James VI united the Crowns and created the United Kingdom. There are 2 separate Crowns.

As an ardent Princess Diana fan I cannot believe I am writing this! Camilla has won me over by keeping the ship steady! She makes me feel like everything will be okay!
@MsButterflyuk - l loved your comments, what a lovely person you must be, as although an ardent fan of Princess Diana, you can appreciate that Queen Camilla is a wonderful human being and a fit partner for our beloved King Charles lll. I do not think either Diana or Charles were bad people, it was outside influences that brought them together, but there were so many differences between them from the get go that unfortunately the marriage was doomed from the start. At least we have an incredible heir to the throne in Prince William, but unfortunately Prince Harry, has taken the wrong path, which is sad, but hopefully in the fullness of time he will realise his mistakes and seek help to rectify them, as l do feel he wants to return but is caught between a rock and a hard place, as he does not look like the Harry we all knew and loved.

I’m also in my seventies and British and I just want to say there were always people who admired the stoicism and loyalty of (now Queen) Camilla. She never spoke to the press despite being absolutely vilified, unfairly in my opinion, and now people are acknowledging her worth, she deserves every accolade.
Along with so many things that have changed - like men insisting on being referred to as women, and another American divorcee thinking she can change 1,000 years of history! Fortunately Queen Camilla is one of the few 'unlikely' changes that have turned out to be a blessing. She is doing a fantastic job and I am proud to call her my Queen. ❤

Queen Camilla is a credit to the King and to our Country. We are lucky to have her. But when things get back to normal and god willing they will HRH King Charles III should take the Queen away for a luxurious Holiday. Trouble is our King is a workaholic and will want to get back in the saddle and get back to normality which is work and be amongst his people.

The Counsellors of State list shows, in order, those officially allowed to represent the Monarch if he is ill or out of the Country. In order, the first 4 Counsellors of State are Queen Camilla, Prince William, Princess Anne and Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh. The list was amended in 2022 to remove Prince Harry and Prince Andrew as "only working members of the Royal Family can be called on to act as Counsellors of State ". This was fast-tracked through Parliament and effectively removes any 'power' from Harry who chose to no longer be a Senior Working Royal and live abroad. The Queen is merely stepping up as required. 🙏
Never mentioned Harry. He was last person on my mind. Why are Megan and Harry always brought up? They/she got what they wanted so when the Royal family is mentioned they should be forgotten/omitted from the conversation.
He has many. Camilla is doing what she always does and needs to do and so is William, but he's dealing with a severe illness in his family. There are also other royals who are there if you opened your eyes.
