THE EXACT THING HAPPENED TO ME. We are from London. 2 months ago me and my girlfriend were driving from Belgium to Paris. We were in my M2 going down the motorway at about 90mph. The police pulled us over and seized the car for 7 days claiming we were doing 190kph. The garage damaged my front bumper and we ended up paying £1000 in fines

@@BIGMSB It only seems to happen to foreigners in France, when we went to the police station to pick up the paperwork to release the car, they were seizing more UK peoples car and some cars driven by Belgians. I told them I had no cash to pay the fine only card so I was driven to a cash point in the back of a fed car. JOKEMEN

Same shit happend to me in perpignan when caught speeding in my m3 tryna make my sons football match when he was away with man united under 12s at the time,at first they was like you pay 750 euros then go,then i starting asking for officers details and they got real mad,started doing paperwork and said now you pay 750 euros and dont drive for 3 month,luckily i had another kids dad come and drive the car into spain for me,but yeah they was at first pocketing the money and got pissed when they had to do it the official way,very corrupt police in france

the exact same thing happened to ne there was a french car doing 200 we were only doing 170 and they stop us but not the french car infront of us and said their speed radar didn’t catch them

Yeah you've gotta be careful with the French Police, they have a personal vendetta agains't UK registered cars. I once went to visit a friend who bought a massive barn out in Central France, I went their to help him with the conversion of it. I parked my car at the end of his drive (on his land perfectly legal) as his drive was in a bad state didn't want to rip my bumper up. Came back to check on it in the evening to find out my tyres had been let down. Checked the neighbours CCTV.. French cops had done it. Corrupt as fuck fella.

That last 20-30 mins on the scooters had me cracking up too much. I was thinking the guy with all the tats (and the lambo owner?) was giving a lot of crap to the police or the guys loading the cars on the truck but fair enough if he's running the event. Really annoying events happening here but must've been sort of protective reason behind it possibly that meant you had to go passenger for a while. Looking forward to seeing more of the newest trip and I think there's a part 3 of this one still to watch

I got caught in France at 223kph few years ago. gendarme made my Mrs drive me to cash point, €800 euro cash, “banned” me for 3 days. I Kept the car and my license but she had to drive drove me to the Belgium border.

French officier are sworn by the law they didnt need to show you your speed. They are not corrupt you have to know in france speeding too fast is severly punished (more 50 kph) up the speed limit they can take out your license driving for 6 months and seizing your car definitly unless the car is not at your proper name when you are in france you should drive the car of your friend and conversely like that they can t seized a car that is not yours ;)
They are corrupt I wasn’t doing over 50kph! Also someone else on the tour got pulled doing 86kph over and they fined him and let him go didn’t even seize the vehicle! And that’s a fact

Sometime for no reason on the same road the speed limit is 110 and 2km after is 130 if you was under of 40kph they cant seized your car you should take a lawyer I hope this story will end good for you:) last tip on the french road use the "waze " gps apk the speed camera are 90% of time indicated on it ;) and when you want drive very fast take a car of your friend they absolut cant seized a car its not at your name

It was later thrown out for lack of evidence, they wouldn’t show me any evidence of me traveling that speed…all charges and fines removed. Awful policing
