Great plane and great presentation. THRANDA has become THE PLACE for x-plane INNOVATION.
Perhaps you should add some spectacular Liveries, like RedBull.
This would characterize even more this outstanding technical creation.
    Greetings from Germany.

Thank you for making this amazing aircraft. Did some skydiving out of Chambery a few years ago and they used one of these, the pilot would be on the ground before us every time. Bought XP on sale the other day just so I can fly this and it didn't disappoint.

I just bought the airplane and damn Im amazed not only by the graphics but the flight model!! It's the best I've ever seen in any X plane plane especially the spin recovery and stall are simulated highly realistic. Many thanks! Im gonna use this to train for my IFR rating because my flight school's plane (Aquila 210 has the same Garmin)

    Great landing and thank you.

Great video! Every time I land I get an intense yaw moment. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I do typically set my rudder trim full right to the green zone, so I'll try a landing without that. I come in smooth, though, with tail wheel locked, and as I slow I tend to swerve off the runway.

Absolutely amazing bird! Hoping you are able to get that VR pop up menu thing fixed, but even with that not functioning properly, this aircraft is a JOY to fly in VR! Thank you very much!!

Very nice in all regards, congratulations! Looking forward to the floats, etc. Now, I believe this airport to be (Ken Jernstedt Airfield-4S2, Hood River, OR) and if so, where the heck is the grass strip you landed on? Scenery enhancement(s)? Which one (s) as I want to use this airport and grass strip as a practice place. Okay, waiting, not quite patiently.... (Again, great aircraft)

Good eye! I indeed took off from 4S2, then I flew over to Green Acres Airpark (7OR6), which is a private grass strip next to the Dee Highway (which is a great motorcycling road, incidentally). The overall scenery is Orbx Washington, but I'd done some of my own modifications to 7OR6 itself to make it a bit more lively.

@@josephnoe2956 The default 70R6 is certainly less 'lively" but at least I am in the correct valley! Thanks.
I'm only 10 months into X Plane having been a MSFS guy and gave it up several years ago. Complex scenery in X Plane will have to wait as I am learning the simulation of some real planes and working on getting things to work well. A brand new computer by a company that should know X Plane quite well and it seems I should have upgraded beyond the High end system as it doesn't seem enough.
And today something glitched in X-Plane or Reality XP as the GTN 750 in my Turbo Porter panel is 'dark'. Once I get the GNSs and GTNs to work (in the panels) it should be great to simulate flying as I do in real life.
      Someday--the 22nd Century is coming.

    Hello,
pretty sure this has been asked 1000 times but unfortunately i can't find any answer to this online:
Are there any plans to bring this masterpiece of a simulation to MSFS at one point? If so i'd probably not buy any other PC-6 until yours would arrive, even if it's years from now.
Sorry for asking in the YT comments, i couldn't find a Thandra website asking google about the company's name.

We're committed to X-Plane here at Thranda, so we aren't planning to bring this plane to MSFS. And our forums are located at the following link, if you're interested: forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/forum/302-thranda/

Hi Joe, beautiful, innovative release! Can I ask, where did you get this Hood River Airport 4S2 scenery from? I Googled but could not find anything :o) Thanks.

    • @josephnoe2956
      @josephnoe2956 4 роки тому

Thanks! It's actually the default scenery for 4S2 that comes with X-Plane. But the surrounding ortho textures come from the Orbx Washington State scenery. I also have the Forkboy2 ortho scenery for the areas of Oregon to the sound.

Love this aircraft but the bloody thing tries to kill me every time I take off or land.. Yes i have the tailwheel locked and the rudder trimmed right. I get a nasty swerve left on landing which no amount of brake or rudder can correct. I guess its the VR... takes off like a helicopter though and that view through through the bottom of the door :D
