Every Importer and Exporter has to update their Importer Exporter Code - IEC information on an annual basis from April to June, non-compliance may result in the deactivation of IEC. As per the Notification No.58/2015-2020 dated 12th February 2021, every Importer Exporter Code - IEC holder has to make sure that their Importer Exporter Code - IEC details get electronically updated every year during the period April to June, non-compliance may result in de-activation of IEC. Dear Ashu, IEC holder has to update the details in their IEC every year in the following year during April to June. Since you have updated your older IEC, there is no need to update the IEC applied in the current financial year i.e. April 2021

Our DSC doesn't match with firm name. There is minor Change, pvt Ltd instead of private limited. We are unable to update DSC.

IEC is PAN based, in case of Proprietorship you can apply for one IEC only.
