The wind arrangements are fantastic - made by George Martin I presume? And the sometimes subtle differences in the treatment of the voices adds a huge amount to the overall atmosphere.
That low E string is out of tune or poorly intonated on the Fender Bass VI. Interesting. Same issue with Paul's original Hofner. Lots of sharp notes once you hear the bass isolated on some tracks.
Makes sense since the Beatles liked to tune their instruments to each other's instruments. At least that's how it appeared in Get Back. So in isolation it might've been a bit out of tune but in the mix it wasn't as noticeable. Like with a lot of the Let It Be album with the Paul's Hofner it's really out of tune but works really well in the mix.
John definitely played all the electric guitars parts but for the buried acoustic guitars it's a toss up since session photos show both John and Paul playing acoustic guitars.
Thank you. The piano is so clear isolated. Makes me want to learn this piece now.
Really impressed by John's dance hall approach guitar parts that work perfectly -
Paul's piano playing came a long way - also on LADY MADONNA and MARTHA MY DEAR very beautifully created inventive piano parts
Great song Honey Pie. Thanks for this. Love hearing all parts separate.😂 Oh and all the pictures are so cool.
The winds really made this piece!
Love that Roaring Twenties Style!
Extremely interesting. Grazie
Paul,s voice and John,s Guitar both amazing

i would love to hear a mix with just the vocals and winds
Love this song.
1920s
George sounds like he’s playing a bass line on guitar..
Most likely the 6-string bass

That's the White album for you.
14:08 isn't that a ukulele? sounds like it
Can u do a naked version (basically no winds)
For now it's on my patreon here: www.patreon.com/posts/beatles-honey-100201624?Link&
If I can get it unblocked on UA-cam I'll upload it here as well.
One can almost allways tell when Paul is not playing bass
Even Oh Darling feels pretty obviously George to me, Maxwell’s Silver Hammer too
can i call a pop mixed with jazz song
It was just John on guitar IMO.

One of the worst songs on The White Album.
WRONG.
No
Obla Di is the worst song.
@user-ll2yj3hy4c Most songwriters wish they could write a song 1/10th as good Obladi Oblada.
Seriousl,y there are some real tone deaf Beatles fans out there.
