What power source u are using for dissolving graphite in ethanol solution??
Excellent demo, but three questions
1) What was the concentration of ethanol used in initial step?
2) What kind of filter was used in chromatography?
3) What was the pressure of N2 pump?
I know answer to the question 2, there is no filter used. silica gel itself acts as the filter.

Yes David, after evaporating ethers, the QDs still will be dispersed in a certain volume of ethanol.

Pet ether/diethyl ether is very good for chromatography of extremely nonpolar molecules. ❤
